This was one hell of a challenging project (just the way I like it😎). The brief was to take a series of images of commuters on their way to or back from work during the rush hours, on the with other passengers onboard, no warming up, I only had 5-10 minutes with each of them🤣 Thankfully the images came out quite good, if I do say so myself, and even got published in Evening Standard. Thanks to the team for having me involved.

It’s not often you get a chance to be the exclusive photographer on a government Secretary of State visit, so that only adds to the pressure of covering a large number of somewhat unpredictable and unrepeatable moments all taking place in 45min, oh and keeping a social distance as well:)

This year has certainly thrown a curveball at everyone, and caused us having to rethink how to do the simplest of things in not only a different way but new and interesting way. Above you can see a small selection of BTS images from a recent live stream workshop by of talking about the power of storytelling in cybersecurity. Epic broadcast not only because of the presenting style, message, visual aids but also the variety we managed to pull of, progressing trough 3 different setups (including a campfire scene) 6 different camera angles and an outfit change that went flawless👌🏻

It’s sad really that when people ask Canon to change their approach and develop something new, not even innovate, but just catch up with what other companies cameras are capable of for years by this point (4k, mirrorless, eye af, 10bit video, fast sd card slots, no crop), their answer is to create a featureless plastic fantastic camera...

Canon’s tepid 4000D isn’t released in this country yet, but the fact that it even exists is a sad commentary on where camera manufacturers are today.
