Yes. Yes, it is.

The beauty of stop-motion is that it makes the ordinary feel like an event. Even if the event is just three slices of meat doing a little dance before they meet their fate.

So what's your speciality
I get asked this a lot.

And I always pause. Not because I don't know. Because the answer depends on who's asking.

For a client?
Product photography with personality. Stop motion that tells a story. Images that make people stop scrolling.

For another photographer?
Probably stop motion. Or maybe the way I use colour. Or that I build tiny worlds in the studio.

For someone who just spotted my work?
The weird details. The drumstick in a book. The rockstar who takes his hair seriously.

Here's what I've realised:

The question "what's your speciality?" isn't really about me. It's about the person asking.

They're trying to find the connection. The reason to work together. The thing that makes me different from everyone else.

So my honest answer?

Curiosity. I'm specialised in curiosity.

Everything else is just what I point the camera at.
