My mum sent me this picture the other day and I remember this moment so much…
It was the day I graduated from after doing a one year diploma in Cameras, sound and vision mixing for television production. I started the course just before Covid hit and had to eventually defer for a year because of the pandemic …
There wasn’t much I could do during that period and neither did I have much funds as I was studying full time so I decided to get a part time job as a warehouse operative (about 2 hours from home) to make ends meet.
I thought I would only be there for a few months but this turned into a year … ( I absolutely hated it) but it built character, resilience, made me think about what I actually wanted and helped me financially which was the main thing. Looking back the decisions I made then are serving me now.
I’m working in the field I wanted to transition into and funnily enough living in the very area I used to commute for 2 hours to work (God has a great sense of humour)
This is just a reminder to you to start with what may seem small and walk in the way that may seem unknown .. obedience is better than sacrifice …. the one who knows all is working ALL things out for your good.
No it’s not too late to start, there is space for you. The race is yours.
