Boudoir By Tigz Rice Empowering bo***ir portraits for fearless leaders and those who dare to dream out loud
(3)

Tigz Rice is a UK based Bo***ir & Personal Branding Photographer, who helps fearless humans re-connect with their bodies & feel empowered, confident & unapologetically present in both their personal and professional adventures. Combining luxury editorial photography with her own signature style of retouching, Tigz has been helping her clients level up their digital visibility since 2009, providing

a portfolio of beautiful images that perfectly portrays their unique personality, style and values. Tigz has always been an outgoing person, but finding the confidence to be her true, authentic self in a world of cultural and media-led body standards has been an incredible journey. After being bullied as a child for being slightly overweight, spending her late teens waging a war against a beautiful athletic body trying to make it fit within a BMI chart, by her mid 20’s she decided enough was enough. Since then, she’s learned to love her body, embracing her killer curves and strong, powerful legs. Now, the only standards she is required to meet are the ones she sets herself. Consistently pushing creative boundaries wherever possible, Tigz focuses on fearless femme strength and loves to challenge the male gaze in both her private and commercial photography. In 2016, she photographed a lingerie campaign for Scantilly that was described by the Huffington Post as ‘one of the world’s most inclusive underwear campaigns’. In 2017 Tigz was voted the world’s leading female burlesque photographer in 21st Century Burlesque’s Burlesque Top 50. And in 2021, Tigz was named as one of Digital Women's Top 40 Digital Women To Watch, making the shortlist for Digital Woman of the Year. Tigz is also an award-winning author, with her book STRIP/TEASE - documenting a decade of work within the burlesque community - winning bronze in the 2020 IPPY Independent Publishing Awards. When she’s not behind the camera, Tigz enjoys travelling the world, learning as many languages as possible and collecting more lingerie than her wardrobe has space for.

Tigz Rice and Tracey Hill on the definition of success we are all taught to chase, working with high net worth individuals whose success is built from pain, and how it's not the money you want but freedom and time with your family.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

In this week's episode, Tigz Rice has a conversation with Tracey Hill, the UK's leading transformational therapist and founder of The Pause Effect.

Our conversation explores what it truly means to be happy, releasing trauma and limitations, and why the things we deeply want as humans are not the things that come on paychecks. Tracey shares her journey of helping people unlock freedom, the difference between real success and what we're taught to chase, and why you've got to love yourself first.

Finding My User Manual is all about learning how to be human – especially when no one handed you the instruction booklet. Through personal stories, expert conversations, and unapologetically honest reflections, empowerment photographer Tigz Rice explores what it means to understand yourself, your needs, and how to thrive in a world that wasn't built with everyone in mind, with some of the incredible humans she's had the privilege of meeting along the journey.

"I booked it to celebrate my 45th birthday. I've spent all of my life as an organizer and activist, I spent a lifetime amassing amazing experiences watching humans bet on themselves and win. During the last 25 years, I just didn't prioritize myself outside 'the work' and my kids. Suddenly my babies are both adults and I wanted to investigate this other side of life. First and foremost I have to stop and thank you, Tigz, you really created an experience I will never forget." - Anne

Betting on yourself, gorgeous. That's what this experience is all about.

Photos from a virtual photoshoot with Annie and Jes

*Technically, the quote is from photoshoot one and this image is from photoshoot two... but here's proof that celebrating yourself with beautiful photos doesn't have to be a once in a lifetime thing.... IYKYK 👀

Here's the thing about self-belief.

You don't suddenly stop having doubts.

You don't suddenly become fearless.

Every insecurity doesn't magically disappear.

But... somewhere along your journey, you will decide that these things don’t get to make decisions for you anymore.

You stop waiting to feel ready.

You stop asking for permission to take up space.

You stop shrinking yourself into someone more convenient for everyone else.

THAT version of you is the one who books an empowering photoshoot experience with me

Not some polished, perfected version of you that only exists after good lighting, clever posing and retouching.

You don’t book a photoshoot with me because you finally became worthy of being photographed.

You book it because you’ve realised you always were.

And sometimes, seeing yourself through a different lens is exactly the reminder you need.

Ready to take up some space? I'll go grab my camera.
