🇳🇴☀️ Imagine living in a town where the sun disappears for months every winter…
That’s exactly what happens in the small Norwegian town of Rjukan, hidden deep between steep mountains. To solve it, engineers installed massive computer-controlled mirrors on the mountainside that track the sun and reflect sunlight directly into the town square. 😳
The mirrors don’t create sunlight — they simply redirect it. But for locals, even a few hours of natural light during the dark winter months completely changed the mood of the town. 🌄✨
