There is no turning back now.

2026 is here, the road here has been tough, leaving behind me some crazy years, and how I feel after everything I've been going through, it is time to reconnect with my roots, to a place I can call home.

I've been feeling exhausted, like I'm constantly in a fight, in a struggle, and this is how I felt when I arrived to 2026.

I'll be leaving many things behind, from people to a lifestyle, a "comfort" that was killing me inside. I know I need a fresh start.

I'm embracing 2026 with open arms, may it be a year of prosperity and success in everyway.

That's how I feel going into 2026, excitement, fear, adrenaline, uncertainty, yet I'm falling, it's happening, 2025 is g...

Madeira! Such a magical place ❤️

Isn't this the kind of place that comes to our mind when we think about fairy tales? So deep in the forest, surrounded by waterfalls and beautiful landscapes.

This water channels were actually the water source back in the days for the population of the island, it's pure clear fresh water that guides us to the most beautiful of places.

This photos are just small memories from my previous trip to Madeira.

Would you like to know more about this island?

Have you ever lost the spark? The passion, the pleasure, the will to do something you love?

Taking a break from Instagram for many reasons, but the main reason is that Instagraming made me lose the spark, the passion I had for photography, and then Covid killed the passion I had for travel.

The other day I was commenting with my other half "damn... Travelling has become so boring and annoying".

So I did travel, but i wanted to get my spark back, to go back to the origins, where travelling inspired to take photos, where the views, the landscapes, the colors, the vibes would make me want to take photos non-stop. And I promised myself that I would enjoy the trip, and photos only if I really felt impelled to do it.

And it did, right at the beginning of the trip, on the outbound flight, I was met with this amazing view from my seat, I really really enjoyed this moment, and really enjoyed taking and editing this photo.

I can say that this break helped regain my passion for photography and travelling.

What do you do when you feel uninspired, without spark? Any tips or tricks to handle this?

A must see in Madeira, that does not really come in the travel guides or blogs, to be honest this place somehow is barely spoken, I guess it's because of how well "camouflaged" /hidden this place is.
I had the luck to arrive during sunset, so the colors in the sky were beautiful, although it was a very stormy day, and full of rain, in the end of the day I was blessed with this fantastic sky and colour.
So this place is in the North side of the island, between Seixal and Porto Moniz, it's impossible not to pass by there, cause there is only one road that connects both towns, the thing is that is really well hidden, look for a very small cave/window on the rock, with a very small steps, if you go through it, you will feel like you arrived in another world!
I wanted to take my drone out here, and show you better the area, how to find and the view from it, although it was very windy and I was 99,9% sure I would smash the drone against the rocks or it would just fly away (although that 0,01% was very tempting...)
So please make sure you include at least a quick stop here when you visit Madeira, at least 30min are a very well worth stop
Also there are public toilets just in front of the window with parking spaces for cars (and we travellers know very well how nice it is to find free /open toilets😁😋)
I hope you enjoyed my Madeira travel tip of today!

Swipe left to zoom out! This Palace never stops amazing me. This is the last set of photos of the Monserate Palace, at least for now!I hope I got you you intrigued to come visit Sintra and this beautiful place ♥️

When you see/look/think about my profile, do you see me more as a Travel photographer or blogger? Or some weird mix of both? Or neither of these😅 please be honest, it's important for me to define my content better. Also cause as you know I started the YouTube channel, and I'm thinking about creating videos about travelling, blogging destinations, travel tips etc. But also think I could give some tips and tutorials about photography and editing, what do you guys think? That the two things mix? I should keep them separated? Just really eager to hear what you guys have to say!

Can't wait to start travelling again!!!

Have you guys seen my previous? Well if you didn't it's the entrance to the Monserate Palace, and this is one of it's main Chambers.
It is apparently the dinning room or even the ball room, where dances and parties used to take place, I can almost imagine all the princesses and dukes having a blast in this room, don't you?
And you guys know what? The most impressive about this Palace... Is not even the Palace itself, neither the inside neither the outside architecture, but the Gardens surrounding the Palace, in Sintra we can find flora from everywhere in the world, flowers and trees from Asia to South America and even Australia/New Zealand.
Basically if you guys visit Sintra, please make sure you take a look at Monserrate Palace, all of it, it really is worth the visit, you will be amazed by the beauty of it.

Hey everyone, I hope that 2021 has been treating you all well!
Do you ever travel inside your own country? Considering the weekend escapades, do you use any of your weekends or holidays to visit/travel new things inside your country?
Sometimes as Portuguese, I tend to neglect my own country a bit, in the way that I always want to go abroad, travel far far away and see something different, exotic, beautiful, charming, cultural etc etc. When I forget that sometimes just 30min drive away I have beautiful monuments, palaces in the middle of a forest in the mountain. And I'm using this as example, cause I'm sure that in Portugal there are still so many beautiful places missing for me to see/visit.
Do you have any local treasures that you don't realise or value as much as you should?
By the way, this is Monserrate Palace, situated in the heart of Sintra, is usually one of the least visited places of Sintra, cause the "competition" is tough there, Pena Palace, Mourish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, the National Palace of Sintra, and even the Sintra downtown, and because Monsserate is the most distant and less known of all this list... Usually tourists and even locals tend to skip this beauty.
Have you ever been or heard of this Palace?

Travel brought us together, we love to travel, and travelling made us possible.
We've already been through so much! Life has been making our lives so difficult, so tough, tried to keep us apart, trying to pull us down, but when we stand together as one, there's nothing that life can throw at us that will throw us down.
Not everything was hard and difficult, we had some beautiful, amazing moments and memories together! Even though it has been just a small piece of our path together, I know many more beautiful memories and moments are still to come, and many more than we can even imagine or think off.
I love you, and not just today, but everyday I'll keep telling you this words. You're an inspiration, and an example to me, I love you more and more each day ❤️
I know this valentine's day was far from ideal, specially to us crazy travellers, but still I appreciate só much the fact that we love and have each other, and everyday is better cause you're always part of it❤️
Love you incondicionally❤️

The beautiful sunset over Madeira! In this photograph you can see one of the most epic airports /runways in the world.
Madeira's Airport used to be considered one of the most dangerous in the world, and pilots had to have so much experience before being allowed to land here. The runway was extended twice, the first extension up to 1,8km (1,1 miles), and the second one by 2,8km in total. It might not seem so impressive, but if we considered that they extended a cliff that goes straight into the oven by 1km or more... It's quite something.
Can you guess where is this view point? Do you know where this photo was taken from?

Been demotivated for Instagram, and that reflects on me not posting as often, been quiet for some time, etc.
However, been recently reminded that I'm not doing this for you, not for IG or anything, doing this to share my passion for travel and photography, and if you like or not... Well... Can't let that affect me, or stop me from doing what I love.
I hope you guys enjoy this shot, please take attention to that cute little waterfall on the left!
I watched one of the most beautiful sunsets from this town, had the cutest Town, surrounded by mountains that were full of banana trees, with a cristal clear water, a piece of heaven right here.
