One of my happy places, Lower Swineshaw reservoir from upper Swineshaw reservoir on a beautiful spring day, sadly this area is out of bounds currently due to the devastating wildfires.

Calm before the storm,

Taken at the top of ditchcroft shortly before 5am, the morning sun breaking the thick build up of cloud and remnants of smoke from the moors, shortly after this mother nature put on quite the show, phenomenal thunderstorm with incredible lightning and very welcome rain.

Apologies for the lack of posting, last year I had a near fatal collapse at home and it knocked my confidence when it came to venturing in the outdoors, I did my first hike in a long time yesterday and it felt so good to be back doing it along with some photos.
This was taken fairly close to ogden brook.
