We tend to our gardens. Our children, our relationships, our work, our homes. We water, nurture, hold, build.
And somewhere in all that tending, we can forget about the woman underneath it all.
The one who existed before all the roles.
The one who is still changing, becoming, shedding old versions of herself.
The instinctive, creative, wild part of her that doesn’t need to be useful to deserve space.
Maybe she hasn’t disappeared.Maybe she’s just been waiting to be noticed again.
This is a big part of why I photograph women.
Not to turn you into someone else.
Not even to capture the “best version” of you.
But to make space for the woman who is here now…in all her softness, strength, uncertainty, wildness and becoming.
To take her somewhere she can breathe.
To let her take up space.
To create something together that feels true.
Because we photograph so many things we want to remember.
When was the last time you honoured the woman you are becoming?
Maybe it’s time we tended to her, too.
Let’s take her somewhere wild and make something beautiful together.
