The Tardis has shrunk a bit, but it’s still bigger on the inside.

Eight of these Police Call Posts remain in London following decommissioning in the 1960s. They were originally manufactured in the early 1930s by British Ericsson. Enabling the public to call the police station and for the station to get in contact with the Policeman on duty in that area. The lamp you can see on top would flash if the policeman were required to contact the station.
