It’s been a long while since I last posted on Facebook.
Since leaving my corporate life at Kyndryl at the end of last year, I’ve been quietly working away on building the next chapter of my creative journey.
Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me. It’s about storytelling, documenting people, culture and moments that matter. Many of you started following my work during my time on Master of Photography back in 2018, and I’m genuinely grateful for all the support that has continued since then.
One of the biggest projects I’ve been working on is a new photography book called Carnival of Resistance, which I’m co-authoring alongside fellow visual storyteller Wayne Campbell.
Over the past 15 years we’ve both documented different sides of Notting Hill Carnival — the music, the energy, the creativity, the community and the spirit that makes Carnival what it is.
As Carnival approaches its 60th anniversary, this project feels incredibly important to us. The book isn’t meant to be a full history lesson, but more a reflection of lived experience through photography — celebrating both the joy and the deeper roots of resistance and resilience that helped shape Carnival in London.
Pre-orders are now open and I’d genuinely appreciate any support in helping us bring this project to life.
