A sneek peak at what's to come this weekend at Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway's Surrey Borders and Camberley Railway gala!

The Surrey Borders and Camberley Railway was a 10¼ inch railway, which opened on the 23rd of June 1938, and lasted roughly a year before being forced to close due to the outbreak of World War 2 and never reopened.

The railway's fleet was built by a local engineer named H.C.S Bullock who built the fleet of locomotives which mostly consisted of 4 of his 1000 and 2000 class Pacifics however there were 2 which never ran on the SBCR.

All 6 Bullock Pacific's have never ran together however that's about to change as this weekend, for the first time in history they are going to all run in passenger service with the addition of 3007 "Firefly" which is another locomotive built by H.C.S Bullock

The Pacifics are:
1001 "The Monarch"
1002 "The Empress"
1003 "Western Queen"
2005 "Silver Jubilee"
2006 "Edward VIII"
2011 "Coronation"
