I haven’t introduced myself to many of my new followers, and I thought I’d also share the friendly face of the photographer who would be present on your big day! Here it goes!
Hey, I’m Sailesh 👋🏽 I’ve been photographing weddings since 2010, which sounds mad when I say it out loud, and I still get excited for every single one. No two weddings are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me coming back. I’m a proud dad to two amazing kids who mean the world to me and keep me grounded in the best way.
I come from a creative family, and I’m really proud of my heritage; it’s shaped how I see people, emotion, and those little moments that matter most on a wedding day.
I’ve spent ten years in mens fashion and now coming up to six years in financial services, but nothing can beat being a wedding photographer, it’s an escape from reality where I’m fully immersed in the celebrations.
I’m very much an extroverted introvert. Pretty chilled most of the time, but at weddings I love getting to know your friends and family, having a laugh, and fully leaning into the energy… especially once the dance floor fills up.
When I’m not shooting weddings, I’m usually out walking by the river or in green spaces, taking the occasional holiday, listening to music or a podcast, spending time with close family and friends. I love a good glass of red wine, the odd whisky and cigar, and yes, I’ve got a serious weakness for sweet treats.
Even after 16 years of documenting weddings, I love the feeling. The happiness, the love shared between couples and their families, the quiet in-between moments nobody else notices, the calm of the ceremony, the chaos of a vibing party, and those colours that somehow pop even more on a cloudy day. The moment I’ve arrived at the venue, I’ve entered your bubble and the energy of your joyous day is infused into me!
