Some more images from the shoot.

Lighting this project was quite the task for Tristan and me, as we not only had to plan and light two planes, but also switch between three different times of day.

Here are some very blue nighttime shots.

*A nice one to finally upload for United Airlines to showcase their new Polaris Studio Suites - This shoot was a big operation with some incredibly talented people to bring to life as the team built two plane interiors next to each other in Kennington Film Studios.

It was great to work with amazing people at who built the CGI renders for us to work with on this project, as we didn't have the physical aircraft to work with to create the images.

Food poisoning on my last days in Mexico wasn’t quite enough to keep me off set when I touched down back in London.

Especially not when it’s shooting the campaign imagery for and his incredible Comic Relief challenge for this year, tandem biking 1000km in 8 days.

I’m very late to doing a bit of a round-up of last year, mainly because I’m at the tail end of an amazing holiday with my beautiful wife in Mexico, we’ve both definitely had our fair share of tacos and mezcalitassss

Last year was a bit of a rollercoaster for everyone in our industry, but there were still plenty of positives. 2025 kicked off with signing to , and working with Harry has been brilliant. It’s always a good feeling having someone fighting your corner who genuinely believes in your work and helps get those commissions over the line.

The first image here is from the AOP Awards, where I won Gold for Best Documentary — a project I made with my good mate . I’ve always said I’d love to win an AOP award once in my career, so hearing my name called was honestly a bit surreal. Huge thanks to everyone at for fighting the good fight for photographers, and to for trusting us and letting us create something really special with them.

I really should take more BTS from the shoots I’m on (I promise I’ll be better this year), but I had such a great time and made so many solid friendships along the way, from here in London all the way to Toronto (you know who you are). I'm very excited to be able to show you more from these shoots when they're released to the public in the next couple of months

Can’t wait to get back to London next week and get cracking — the diary’s filling up.

Not too long ago I photographed for . We had an amazing time in the studio and I hoped I’d get the chance to photograph him again.

That moment came at the perfect time. David has returned to play Othello, a role that holds huge personal and cultural significance. When David first played Othello, he became the first Black actor to portray the role at the National Theatre in 1997, and he went through a great deal during that period because of this.

Here are a few words from David:
“After 30 years, returning to this role has been extraordinarily special. Seeing the role now through the lens of age, maturity, and self-discovery has been an unexpected joy. I’m glad Jack was here to capture my final performance. His skill at capturing these moments will be something I’ll treasure in the years to come.

This special cast, this wonderful theatre, and this challenging and most difficult of plays will be something I look back on with fond and happy memories.”

Thank you again, David, for letting me into a small, private moment during this part of your life and career. Here’s to many more.

on starring in a new role as Pierre in the show, West London: “It’s interesting because duty solicitors get such a bad rap. People think they’re rubbish. But they came about in the 70s because there was so much police corruption. The government decided that everyone arrested needs legal representation. Pierre is a champion of the downtrodden. He’ll defend you with everything he’s got. He goes above and beyond, to the annoyance of his business partner, who just wants to make money. He’ll do work for free if he thinks you need help. He’s like a knight in shining armor for those who can’t afford representation.”

on returning to play Othello in the West End, 33 years after he was the first black man to do so: “It feels massive. It’s a different world. It’s a post-Me Too, Black Lives Matter world. It sheds a lot of light on the play. There’s a lot of violence towards women in this play. I kill my wife, and one of the other female characters is also murdered by her husband. So there’s a lot of violence towards women.”

SAG Awards nominee and British actor OBE may be best known for his standout roles as David Estes in Homeland and J’onn J’onzz in Supergirl, but his career extends far beyond that. With work spanning television, theatre, and even video games, Harewood’s talent and range are undeniable. Beyond acting, he founded his production company Section 52, published his memoir Maybe I Don’t Belong Here, and in 2024 became President of RADA - becoming the first Black actor to hold the position.

Currently, he is filming West London for Channel 4, playing duty solicitor Pierre in a gripping new legal drama. But as of now, he returns to the West End to play Othello opposite Toby Jones and Caitlin Fitzgerald, nearly three decades after becoming the first Black actor to play the role at the National Theatre in 1997, and of course much has changed in the years since.

In our interview with Principle, we spoke with David about returning to Othello, how world events and drama therapy have deepened his approach to the role, his commitment to telling powerful, authentic stories across stage and screen and all things duty solicitors.

Back in Noorbeek with my Dutch brothers & .

I spent the day observing their deep friendship in action — watching them work in total sync at the forge. When the fire’s roaring and the room’s thick with heat, there’s no need for words. Just instinct & rhythm.
