Sitter sessions tips!

Be prepared for some silly noises from me! I find funny sounds make for some great reactions from your little ones!

When to do it?
Most babies will be sitting solidly at around 7 months so this would be ideal. Don't book it too late or our sitter will turn into a crawler!

Outfit

This is totally your choice but I find simplicity is best. Make sure you bring 2-3 back ups!

Other tips

Plan your session to be a bit after a nap if possible. So they're rested but not still sleepy!

Bring a blanket!

Bring their favourite toy. This will help keep them interested and engaged. I may ask you to wave it around my head 😁

How to make the most of your newborn photoshoot:
1. Photograph before 10 days old if possible (they sleep lots and are most chill at this age)
2. Clear a bedroom of too much clutter. I know this is tricky with a newborn but makes a difference to your photos!
3. Feed baby 20-30 mins before photo shoot starts if possible. Also get them undressed and keep in nappy and blanket. If its winter, stick the heating on so it's nice and cosy for baby.
4. Be prepared to be in photos too. I know most mums don't feel their best in the early days but you won't regret being by your baby's side!
5. Lastly relax. Newborn shoots take time, but the outcome are treasured memories (I hope!)
