The idea of the She Is Her Own Muse project was born when after years living abroad I came back to my home country - Lithuania and noticed how insecure women are about those “imperfections” scars, stretch marks, birthmarks, moles, and that instead of embracing them, they get in a way for women to feel confident about the body they live in.

These 5 Lithuanian women in the photographs came together not only to fight demons of self-confidence but also to inspire other women to be proud of their bodies the way it is. This shoot wasn’t easy and I’m so genuinely proud of each of you. Thank you for making this project see the light!
