Judging Salon Privé 2026 ☑️ Probably my sixth time judging the concours now, but this year was easily the most fun (it didn’t even rain) with the biggest team yet. Always a privilege to inspect such special cars, and always a pleasure to see the delight on the prize winners’ faces when the awards are announced 🏆

Car Week by Maserati Grecale. One of the most sporting SUVs I can remember driving. Handles really nicely in the canyons and the V6TT has a lot of grunt! I don’t think it looks out of place parked alongside side the most exotic of supercars either (or at Mel’s Diner). I won’t be replacing my Quattroporte with one because I can’t afford to 😂 But the many Californian miles consumed in it last month will be fondly remembered 🍊
