I went to the World Cup.
No budget, no big team, no detailed plan. Just a Sony ZV-E1, DJI Mini mics, and a lot of energy.
Me and my partner in crime, , had a dream: to shoot .gourmet episodes across New York while the tournament was happening, each one exploring a different country’s food, culture, and people.
I can honestly say we achieved that—and ended up having one of the biggest adventures of our lives.
As a videographer, it’s a month I’ll never forget. I met incredible people, ate amazing food, and finally understood what the World Cup is really about.
It’s never just been about football. It’s about people.
