Feels about time I jump back onto this account and do a health update about what’s been going on and where I’ve disappeared too.
So, last year I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder causing a handful of symptoms like Tics and extreme joint pain. I have been dealing with chronic pain since 2022 which has become the main reason I’ve had to take a full step back from my photography and most other activities in my life for the foreseeable future.
Very recently I’ve been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia explaining the symptoms that have been getting progressively worse the last couple of years. I also now rely on a wheelchair a lot but I’m very grateful my chair and trike still got me going to Download Festival this year 🤘🏻
In a life update - I’m moving to Nottingham soon! Hoping getting out of London (which is super inaccessible as a wheelchair user) will make it easier to go to gigs again as a punter and maybe I’ll even find a way of reviewing live music again if I can work out getting my access needs met 🤞🏻
