Loaded/adorned/topped with stuff crisps seem to be all the rage atm.

I love (and probably prefer) a crisp in its purest, simplest form (aka straight out the bag, in big handfuls), but this version felt particularly fitting to make with my girl and scoff while watching the footie with friends.

Best summer snack/appetiser- because both my daughter and I are anchovy fiends.
You can make countless versions/variations of these, add bits and bobs, dress them up and down- there are literally no rules.

The “recipe”, some tips, tricks ( always), variations - and another current fave (pasta!) will be on my Substack this Friday.

I love a good salad, especially this time of year, and tuna is often my go-to.
This one is spicy, zingy, heavy on the greens and the crunch, as well as packed with protein and fibre.
It also travels well and keeps ok in the fridge for dinner or lunch the following day.
Spicy tuna salad
-romaine
-spring onions
-gherkins (on the bias- game changer, large chunks)
-fresh green chill
-dill
-garlic/lime mayo (easy on the garlic, heavy on the lime- make it, if you can)
-a liiiiiittle bit of honey
-1 tin of tuna chunks
-1 tin of beans (I used cannellini)
-anchovies
-flakey salt
