Inspiration, not a goal…
When photographers post ‘styled shoots’ and ‘content creation’, Couples, please don’t see this as the go-to, something you SHOULD be creating.
My styled shoots, and content posts are not designed for Couples to emulate.

Please don’t feel pressure by the Instagram wedding industry to ‘perform’ on your wedding day/s… ensure you stay true to yourself, whether that’s relaxing, partying, seeing old and new friends, pulling your family close together.

In the last few decades, photography has gone from group photo templates, to documentary capture it all, to a magazine photoshoot.
But, the best days, are the ones where the photography exists for you and captures the authentic memories you want to remember.
The Couple portraits, the posed moments, they’re great for a wow moment, but often in 10 years, it’ll be grandparents, parents, best friends you want to see and reflect on.

Have a welcome event, if it’s possible!
Because, it’s honestly such a relaxing and fun way to catch up with family & friends before the big wedding day! Particularly when you have 90+ guests.
At Victoria & James had a welcome ‘bbq’ the day before their gorgeous wedding.
The weather wasn’t playing ball for an outdoor bbq, so they just brought the bbq inside!
But, often after rain, you get beautiful sunsets, so we quickly grabbed a few photos of them in the sun

When M&A married a few weeks ago , they wrote on my questionnaire Mia’s dress designer and I was excited straight away!
I LOVE finding out gowns, floral designers, planners and stylists etc
I always ask for the suppliers on my wedding day questionnaire, as it’s so helpful to get a vibe for the day, but also super handy to pre-empt who might contact me post-wedding asking for permission to use images on socials 🧡

Mia chose Hermione De Paula as she adores flowers, and she’s a tattoo artist who creates pretty illustrations, so she appreciates the hard work which goes into an embroidered gown 🧡

I cannot believe it has taken me a year to be able to catch up on my personal projects!
I tried so hard on ‘days off’ or evenings off to edit personal projects, and just super struggled to find guilt free time… but! Hurrah, I am finally seeing a light beyond the pandemic tunnel haha.
I have one job from 2022 to finish (don’t worry, not a primary wedding role! I’m not that terrible!), and then, I am actually and finally up to date!

This shoot was on such a hot day in Athen, Greece. We were all melting!
But, Irini did amazingly
