Here's a photo from Port Isaac, Cornwall in 2019 (my last proper holiday). I liked the photo when I took it but unfortunately the scene was a bit too crowded with distractions.
Now with the help of the incredible new 'Remove Tool' in Photoshop 2024 this is no longer a problem.

I've just been messing around with the new 'Generative Fill' feature in Photoshop (Beta version). It's amazing. You just tell Photoshop what you want and it does it for you. A bit bloody clever.
The original photo was taken in the pub. The edited version is 7 separate layers, 3 helicopters, the rope, the cityscape, the cityscape extension on the left and the original photo of Barney.

Photoshop has stopped working on my laptop after the latest software update. Something to do with incompatibility with my graphics card and DirectX 12.
I can either upgrade my graphics card in my laptop or roll back to the last version of Photoshop. Although I believe there is a way to run the current version of Photoshop with some sort of change to the Preferences menu.

I was all set to take some more photos for my portfolio on Saturday. I’d been added to the guestlist for King Salami & The Cumberland Three at the New Cross Inn.
I got to the train station, camera in hand, only to find out there was a “partial service.”
The London Overground wasn’t running from my local station and I’d left home too late to get to the venue in time using alternative routes.
Gutted ☹️

I've been trying to learn more about Photoshop and it's capabilities. Learnt some interesting things, I've just got to remember how to do the things I've learned.

I've just created this Photoshop "Action" to create a cartoon effect with the touch of just one button. It took nearly an hour to create the effect, but now I've created the "Action" it's done in seconds.
