I spent my first two years photographing families in my childhood bedroom. A bed on one side, studio light on the other, parents ringing the doorbell like it was the most normal thing in the world.

You don’t need a professional studio. You need to understand light.

Whether that’s a blackout room with strobes or your dining room french doors. Find the light and learn to paint with it in any room you’re in.

If you’re new or pivoting, don’t let lack of space stop you. Learn light. Master that. The rest will follow.

I’m not sure what has caused the sudden influx of newborn babies taking over my winter months but I’m absolutely here for it. Currently December is full and November is getting there so if you are due to have your baby this coming Winter, do not wait to book your shoot.

A day at work in London with me - a newborn and family photographer. I’ve been doing this for ten years and am yet to use a proper camera bag. Often I leave my lens cap on location. My tyres seem to always need inflating. And I rarely find my way around without Google Maps but I’ve accepted my type B traits and I just floooooow through it 🙂‍↔️
