How I was able to buy my own house after I repented from prost+tution — DJ Kulet testifies

Nigerian female DJ, Deejay Kulet, has shared her personal testimony during a church service, speaking about her past struggles, her lifestyle change, and how she eventually became a homeowner.

She revealed that she once lived a very difficult life and was involved in prostitution at some point. According to her, her living conditions were poor, and she struggled with accommodation for years. She said she once stayed in a one-room apartment that was rented for her, and later moved into a room and parlour as her situation slightly improved, although it still came with challenges such as lack of proper toilet facilities for about two years.

In her words: “There was a time I was in a one-room apartment that a man rented for me, yes! Then my prostitution work elevated, I got into a room and parlour but I had difficulty there cause it didn’t have a toilet for 2 years.”

Kulet also narrated how she once withdrew millions from her bank account, saying she had made a vow to give her first millions to the church. She said the decision later made her reflect deeply, and she almost regretted it.

“So one time I went to the bank to clear my millions in my account because I made a vow that my first millions would be given to church. I paid it into church and the devil almost made me regret,” she added.

She further explained that her life later changed as she focused fully on her career as a DJ, which helped her improve financially and move into a four-bedroom apartment.

Eventually, she said her breakthrough came when she acquired a house in Surulere, Lagos, fully paid for, insisting she did not return to her past lifestyle to achieve it.

“Not until this time last year, the Lord bought me a house here in Surulere. I didn’t sleep around to pay and I paid in full. I just want to thank God because my story was not good at all. I didn’t even see it coming,” she concluded.

Ademilola Odujinrin, fondly called Lola by friends and colleagues, made this achievement possible with Air Djibouti, he was the first African pilot in history to fly solo around the world.

When Lola finished the last leg of his historic flight, he landed safely at Washington Dulles International Airport in the United States.

With this historic flight, Lola completed the entire circumnavigation in a Cirrus SR22, in a journey which saw him stopping over in more than 15 countries on five continents.

On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, Lola returned to Washington DC, where his journey began back in September, 2016.

“Fewer than 115 people have completed a solo circumnavigation of the globe by air, and it’s been my dream since my youth to join them. Air Djibouti CEO Mario Fulgoni and Cardiff Aviation Chairman Bruce Dickinson share my love for flying and have been hugely supportive in helping me realise a lifetime ambition. I hope to set a world first and inspire a generation of people in Africa and beyond.” said Odujunrin.

Air Djibouti and Cardiff Aviation partnered for the project dubbed ‘Project Transcend’ which aims to inspire a new generation of young pilots in Africa.
