Saturday saw me return to Darwin Lake in the heart of the Peak District for Clair & Paul’s wedding. Set against a backdrop of beautiful countryside, it’s the perfect venue for what promises to be an amazing day and the weather made that happen, with everyone outside enjoying the sunshine, garden games and bouncy castle.

It was a fantastic celebration surrounded by family and friends, capturing many special moments as they naturally unfold and more within the forest.

Evening entertainment and tunes provided by the great guy who is DJ Lee 🎧

As always, narrowing the photographs down to just a small selection to share was incredibly difficult with so much happening throughout the entire day.

The Bank Holiday weekend saw me return to Stretton Manor Barn for Eve & Jack’s wedding, held on the hottest day of the year so far and has been beaten over the past few days with our current heat wave. What an incredible day it was, from start to finish it was packed with entertainment and thoughtful touches, including a live illustrator, a Ibiza themed saxophonist performing during the day and returning again in the evening, a content creator, photo booth, sparklers and blessed with a beautiful sunset that gave us the perfect opportunity to create a real wow moment.

Mark did a fantastic job looking after the day (and us) and ensuring everything ran smoothly, and it was clear just how much thought and planning had gone into every detail from Eve and Jack.

Love the quick ‘shot’ Geoff & Eve before the ceremony and Jesse the paige boy is such a dude 👌 Congratulations to you both!

Saturday took me back to the very local and lovely Whistle Barns, where Jo “girl” & Joe “boy” celebrated their wedding surrounded by wonderful family and friends. The weather forecast threatened rain for most of the afternoon, but thankfully it held off until the evening giving us the chance to wander up the lane and along the canal for some beautiful natural portraits. Later on, we were also able to make the most of the bar area for some creative shots (more to follow).

The guests were completely on form from start to finish, with Lee the DJ keeping the music flowing throughout the day and well into the evening. The décor, flowers and cake were all beautifully done and the evening entertainment came courtesy of our very own “Photolux” 360 booth, which proved a huge hit with guests of all ages. It was also the first time I’ve ever seen a groom happily chomping on pizza while recording his 360 clip!

Jo “girl” & Joe “boy” truly put on one incredible day. And Jo “girl” just wait until you see the final gallery. You spent most of the day laughing your way through every moment and it absolutely shines through in the photographs. Matt and I thoroughly enjoyed being such a big part of your day, and here are a few sneak peeks to enjoy.

As always, choosing just a handful to share was incredibly difficult when there was so much magic throughout the day.

Monday this week, Rachael & Gavin only went and tied the knot at my favourite Nottinghamshire venue, Swancar Farm Country House. From our very first meeting, I knew this was going to be one action packed, fun filled wedding day thanks to the characters they are and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

From the stunning venue to all the incredible suppliers involved, this was a day to remember. The dance floor was still bouncing at 10:30pm when I finally left after packing down the Photo Booth which some enjoyed WAY more than others 🤣
Here are just a few sneak peeks for now… and yes, I know we had an amazing sunset and finished things off with some funky cross colour off camera flash shots. You’ll just have to hang on a little longer for those as I’ve safely tucked them away in my creative folders to edit next week 😉
