After a busy few days in Kuala Lumpur smashing 20,000 steps a day 😱 we spent the rest of our trip to Malaysia recharging our batteries at the wonderful pangkorlautresort on Palau Pangkor Laut. Back home now fully refreshed and ready for tomorrow’s wedding!

Congratulations to Kiara and Jonathan, whose recent wedding saw me make the first of two trips this month to the spectacular Normanton Church on Rutland Water. What a fantastic day it was, beginning with bridal prep at home, where we captured some lovely shots of the wedding dress hung up in the garden. The couple were married in the Church building, which is technically now a museum, surrounded by their wonderful family and friends. The rest of the day was spent at Normanton Park Hotel, whose handy location next to Rutland Water allowed us to easily pop back to the Church a couple more times to capture beautiful portraits of the bride and groom in the changing afternoon and evening sunlight. Thank you Kiara and Jonathan for choosing myself and Joy to be your photographers. We absolutely loved being a part of your special day and hope that the future brings you lots of happiness ❤️

Congratulations to Katie and Shaun, whose wonderful wedding we photographed earlier this month at Carr Bank Wedding Venue in Mansfield. And what an emotional rollercoaster of a day it was, from fits of laughter to a very tearful ceremony and lots of dancing and smiles in between! One of the things that we love about this venue is that we were able to go for a wander around Carr Bank Park, making use of various picturesque spots to capture our couple portraits, including the lovely bandstand. The couple’s guest of honour was their cute doggo Lucy, who obviously made an appearance on lots of the photos! Guests were kept entertained by the fabulous Craig James Magic and we rounded off the day with dance floor action and sparklers. What a jam-packed wedding! Nearly forgot to mention how nice it was to work alongside the talented Heidi of hlphotography.uk who was documenting the day on video. Thank you Katie and Shaun for choosing myself and to capture your Big Day, we wish you both lots of happiness for the future ❤️

Here's a few sneak peeks from Tash and Ben's Big Day last Sunday! A ceremony full of emotion at Normanton Church on Rutland Water followed by a reception and party at thefalconhotel in nearby Uppingham. The sun was shining, it was warm and pet pooch Ralph was guest of honour 🐶 The perfect day!
