📣 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 📢

It gives me immense pleasure and pride to present you a six-page feature I recently wrote for Bike magazine UK off the back of an interview we conducted with WorldSBK runaway championship leader Toprak Razgatlıoglu at Donington Park!

BIKE wanted something different to the usual "Tell us how it's going" style interview. Instead, they wanted us to dig a little deeper and probe El Turco about how he goes about doing the amazing things he does on a bike!

The interview was conducted in Turkish at Toprak's behest, and I transcribed and translated it to written form, retaining Toprak's "voice" to the best of my ability.

It was my first paid and credited feature since my uni gap year at Motorcycle Racer magazine over 20 years ago!

So we've barely had time to soak in and absorb - literally and figuratively - what went down at Round 5 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton...

But here's some of our favourite shots from the weekend. Firstly, big up Franco Bourne to Race and the Rapid Honda by Marvel HCL Motorsport squad - our man finally got the much-needed break he deserved to bag himself a 10th, 11th and 13th!

Massive congratulations to both / and / for their awesome wet weather displays in Race 1 - in particular Storm, who aptly took his long-awaited, maiden BSB win, in the wet - hats off to you Sir... sorry, Lord 🎩

An honourable mention to our old team and , who was set to score the Doncaster-based outfit their best ever result of sixth, but unfortunately was caught out by the tricky conditions in Race 1 😞

put on a Champion-worthy performance, doing the double and really staking his claim for the crown 👏

An absolutely crazy and drama-filled weekend due to the ever-changing climatic conditions 🌞🌤️☁️🌧️🌩️⛈️☔

Can't wait for in a couple of weeks' time, but first there's the small matter of at next weekend...

End of day highlights from an utterly rain-drenched Saturday at Sneterton.

Which is your favourite shot from the day? Sound off in the comments! The unseasonably wet weather certainly added some spice to the day's racing with a total of 70 offs across all the various classes running today.

Here's to hoping the weather is a little kinder to us tomorrow!
