This is exactly why I love weddings so much. Every single one is completely individual, and Steve and Michelle’s day was full of their personality from start to finish.
The words of the day were definitely fun and love 🤍
They got married in their local church, had the reception at their favourite pub, hired their favourite band and gave the whole afternoon the best festival vibes.
You can see all the fun and love in these photos, and honestly, that’s my biggest piece of wedding advice. Traditional weddings are beautiful, but make sure your day is filled with the things you actually love.
Take a little inspiration from Steve and Michelle’s day and make it completely your own

It’s about time I reintroduced myself! 😆
So, I’m a UK-based wedding and family photographer, a 40+ mum of three boys, and a hobbyist traveller with a slight obsession for travel photography.
A quick recap of how I got here… I kind of fell into photography when my youngest was born 8 years ago. I started messing around with my phone, learned how to edit, and realised I absolutely loved capturing beautiful moments. That quickly turned into buying my first “proper” camera, and I’ve never looked back.
In early 2022, I booked my first wedding, and it’s all gone a little mad since then! I love people, I love a good love story, and I love telling your wedding story through photos. Because let’s face it—every wedding has its own personality. Not one is ever the same!
I genuinely thrive on all the little quirks, moments, and personalities that make your day yours. I still can’t believe I get to be a part of it all. Think of me as your third-wheel bestie with a camera. 😆
I never feel like I’m working. I feel like I’m doing something I absolutely love, and I never take that for granted.

There’s something so special about an English countryside wedding.
Joanna and Ben celebrated their day surrounded by their closest family and friends at the beautiful Blackthorpe Barn, and it couldn’t have suited them more. Relaxed, rustic, full of laughter, and with the most gorgeous summer countryside backdrop... these are the weddings I absolutely love.
From catching up over drinks in the sunshine to dancing the night away, the whole day felt so easy-going and joyful. It was a real privilege to capture all the genuine moments that made their wedding uniquely theirs.

Charmaine and Darren’s spring wedding at Thursford was one for the books.
A wedding with a carousel, fairground rides, an incredible outdoor play area and a whole lot of laughter. It was the kind of day that kept everyone smiling from start to finish.
Watching all of the suppliers come together and bring their vision to life was pretty special and the result was pure magic.
Days like this remind me just how lucky I am to do what I do. ❤️

Sometimes I need reminding of why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I picked up a camera because I wanted to capture beautiful memories of my own children, my friends, and the people I love. But when work gets busy, it’s easy to forget, and sometimes after photographing everyone else’s special moments, my own camera stays tucked away. This day was different. I felt that familiar urge to pick it up, and I’m so glad I did. There was no plan, no posing, no pressure—just my friend and the kids having a messy, carefree afternoon in the sunshine. These are the moments that matter most. Photos are truly priceless; they’re one of the few things you’ll never regret investing in because they only become more valuable with time.
