But somewhere between the hair and makeup, the coffee, the conversation and the first few photographs, something begins to shift.

And that’s my favourite part. Not the photographs, the moment a woman realises this is the beginning of something transformative.

Tomorrow is the big day 🤍

A few months ago she stepped in front of my camera for her bridal bo***ir experience, wanting to create something meaningful for the man she was about to marry.

Tomorrow she’ll walk down the aisle.

The planning will be over, the waiting will be over and a brand new chapter will begin.

I know how much love, excitement and anticipation goes into the days leading up to a wedding, so today I’m simply wishing her the most beautiful day.

One filled with happy tears, laughter, unforgettable moments and memories she’ll carry forever.

Right now they’re still tiny kicks, late-night cravings, and a bump that seems to grow overnight.

You’re counting down the weeks, imagining their little face, wondering who they’ll look like and what life will feel like when they’re finally here.

And then one day they’ll arrive.

And somehow, it will feel as though they’ve always belonged.

Rach first came to me for a bo***ir session.

This time she arrived with a bump, a nursery nearly ready, and a mind full of thoughts about the little person she was about to meet.

I love that photography gives us a reason to pause and acknowledge these chapters before they become memories.

Because one day this bump will be gone. The waiting will be over. And life will look completely different.

For now, she’s right here in the middle of it, excited, emotional, sometimes a little overwhelmed.

Counting down the days. And looking absolutely beautiful doing it. 🤍

There’s a quieter side to bridal bo***ir that people don’t talk about enough.

Not the overly performative version or the idea that you need to suddenly feel fearless in front of a camera.

But something softer than that. Like a slow morning, natural light and music quietly playing in the background.

Taking a moment to pause in the middle of a season that often asks so much from women.

Most brides who stand in front of my camera are nervous at first.

They all tell me some version of, “I’ll feel awkward” or “I won’t know how to pose”

And honestly, that’s completely normal.

Which is exactly why my approach is intentionally calm and fully guided throughout.

My experiences become most meaningful when women stop trying to perform confidence and simply allow themselves to exist softly within the experience instead. ❤️
