Perfect table settings, gourgous dresses, stunning looking cakes, beautifully dressed people, all part of the day but i really like what comes next.
I love little scenes that make you think that it must have been GREAT DAY. Eten cake, kicked off shoes, empty glasses, tired (happy) faces, messy dancefloors...all have it's story and all part of the story.
It all gives me FEEL that place been lived, does that make sense? Scenes which make you ask questions. I like when image creates conversation.

💛💛💛 "BEST INVESTMENT EVER!We get goosebumps every time we look at our gallery which is A LOT. We ADORE everything, thank you so very much!When we first started the search for our wedding photographer we knew we wanted someone who we would be comfortable with and who would capture the real moments of our big day. No staged poses. No awkward smiles. Just us and the true story of our wedding day. We went through a few and even booked zoom calls to find the best fit. Janina was ‘THE ONE’ for us from the second we said our first hello. She was interested in us, our story, our plans and what we wanted. From our first emails, there was no hard sell - she wanted to make sure we chose a photographer who would best suit us and she ticked everything we were looking for and much more. Within 4 days we booked Reportage Studios for our weekend with the option to add Jawad closer to the time, which we did! Janina helped advise us on some of our planning and was always happy to answer any questions and make very helpful suggestions in the run up to our big day.We had a lot of help from our closest friends and family for our wedding. Our Maid of Honour made the Wedding Cake, Best Man’s Wife did Hair & Make-Up, Mum made the Bridal Bouquet, Best Man did the Sound, Sister the ring pouch etc etc… We had guests ask how we knew Janina - everyone thought we had known each other for a lifetime and had called in the biggest favour - When we said we’d found and hired Janina, they couldn’t believe we hadn’t met before!Janina and Jawad are a fantastic team and so skilled & passionate at what they do. They didn’t just fit in seamlessly to our big day, they fit in beautifully! Chatting and laughing with our friends, connecting with our families and calming my nerves when I couldn’t stop shaking to put my earrings in! They brought smiles to our celebrations at every turn, guided our guests through the day when they needed to and somehow vanished into the background during those more intimate

What can I say about these two and this day?!
One of my oldest friends Jess Jess Coggins got married!🥳
We know each other through many stages of life. Crazy madness, questionable decisions, horses, child birthing, crying, laughing, bickering and more.Then there’s Tom Tom Hinton ... What a man!
He brings calm to the beautiful chaos, lots of love and laughter, and together they’ve created gorgeous family and then super personal wedding celebrations.
Intimate ceremony, Tom's brotherhad great, funny reading, party was at Tom’s dad’s house, Jess’s best friend Amy Tropic skincare with Amie doing her make up , Zoe Harry B's another best friend and cousin in charge of hair and Grace ( Jess met Grace when she was only couple hours old) and I behind the cameras because , in her words...
“I wouldn’t have anyone else.”
How special and personal is that? ( yes we all professional in our fields)
Going back to party...what a party it was! My throat is still sore and i want to do it all again!

The wedding breakfast.Somewhere between the speaches and desserts a wedding breakfast becomes its own little ecosystem, with about 40 different things happening in one room.
I love scenes like this because if you don't find what i saw then your eye gets to wander around the frame and find its own little story.
Also, that’s what a wedding breakfast looks like.
A room full of people you love, while your wedding happens around them, with all the little conversations, expressions, chaos and connections which make the room yours.
I think this is where the documentary wedding photography bit really earns its keep, because years from now you might remember the decor, speeches, food, champagne who sat where, but this is the photograph that gives you the "feel" back.
All of it, in one frame.

How it's been 3 years since these two awsome humans got married. Ever since they are responsible for more trips to Southampton😀. It was such a wonderful day with most loving family and friends. And...something I never thought I would show and love is my favourite "in between" group photo we tooke that day which just showes great characters.

On your wedding day I'm not turning up as a stranger looking for pretty pictures. I'm looking for meaningful moments, because I know what matters to you most. I’m waiting, watching (not in a weird way, promise!) and capturing your story.

Documentary wedding photography isn't luck. It's observation, attention, anticipation, listening, timing, and understanding human behaviour.

I'll laugh and cry with you to document the emotions of the day, and i'll have my focused face on (this is why I prefer to be behind the camera!) to capture the subtle moments in between.

Super busy last couple of weeks, so busy that I forgot this great win from This is Reportage
I always feel that wedding day morning preparation is super important part of the whole wedding day story. For me it's not manual "how to get ready for wedding day " or " getting ready with me make up tutorial" 🫣 . It is very much story of people in the morning of the incredible day! All about who you spend that morning with, atmosphere and emotions.
Really happy to receive this award! There was huge over 10,000 images submitted across Reportage Awards (for the best individual captures like above) and Story Awards (for series of 15-20 of photos from single wedding). Judges chosen 58 Reportage Awards and 24 stories. Mindblowing!

Nothing beats Henry & Mary-Kate celebrations in June so far. When I was driving up I was praying to photography gods to take rain away, it did in almost perfect time. We had nice cool morning with enough air to take deep breaths and lush sunny afternoon perfect to enjoy cocktail hour outside.
When I got to church I recognised few faces in the crowd quick relised I know many people from this awsome group. Few years ago we photographed Yorkshire wedding- Bianca and Marcus wedding and it was fab small catch up over canapés later on. One of the nicest part about our job hearing about how life goes on, hearing what people are up to, meeting growing families and knowing those happy memories we captured years ago are still cherrished.
We love when one recommendation leads to another and everyone feels super relaxed around us and cameras. Such a great feeling. Wharfedale Grange was buzzing all day, great food great staff, plenty space for people to chat. I was supper happy to see Henry dad's car got it's big role and brought happy couple to the reception.
Day went on, speaches, dancing, pizza, more dancing, ahh I love good band and last dances!
Anyway. Here is few moments from MKs and Henry's big day which began with rain and end up with dance floor full of people who almost refused to go home.
