Hello and welcome to the new school year. It is already well underway and this month we have hit the ground running. This is us at one of our favourite schools, the first one in the calendar this year and they turned on the sunshine as always 💛

Introducing our new operations chief Jacqui on the right, who looks after our emails and admin, and now has experience assisting us on shoot days.

School portraits outside, on the playground or in the fields, what a lovely idea! ☀️🌿🍂🍄🌼

Yes, it really is. Until you remember that you live in North-West England where it rains A LOT. We have been badly inconvenienced by the weather this half term but we do offer options.

- We CAN work indoors - no not in front of a white background, never that. Many schools have lovely halls or parts of classrooms we can use, and this does offer another lovely perspective into your child's school life.

- In some schools we are lucky to have outdoor sheltered areas we can use.

Most of the time though we keep a flexible diary and come back when the rain has gone. Like at this wonderful primary school where they have a HOBBIT HOUSE - dreamy!
