I’m sharing this portrait I took of Dolly, having just discovered that her ancestors were from Machynlleth. I only wish I’d known this when I met her — although I don’t think Dolly was aware of it either.

She was an absolute legend and couldn’t have been lovelier in the short time I had with her. I feel very lucky to have met her and captured this portrait.

RIP Dolly. ❤️

Day 6 (final) of sharing some of my portraits for the Dyfi Coastal Adaptation Handbook

Introducing the formidable Caroline Stockford a poet / translator / author & all round amazing human.
We managed to create a nice set of images in a very short space of time. Deciding to shoot with lights and no assistant on a Welsh beach in November. We got away with it… just. I’m pleased with the end result but more importantly so was Caroline !
