I don’t think enough people talk about how much harder wedding photography has become over the last few years.

And honestly, I’ve felt it.

I still love what I do. But the pressure to constantly show up online, create content, keep up with trends, worry about SEO, bookings, editing, emails, galleries… all while actually photographing weddings, can feel exhausting.

Sometimes you can be working harder than ever and still feel like you’re falling behind.

Instagram shows us the beautiful finished product, but rarely the reality behind it.

So if you’ve been finding things harder lately, maybe you’re not doing anything wrong.

Maybe the industry really has changed.

And maybe, behind the pretty pictures, there’s just a photographer doing their best to keep going. 🤍
