The first of my travel diaries is up on my blog today! 🗺️ Last October and I travelled through the country, up to Scotland and back. This first journal follows us from Kent, up to the Lake District and to the village of Luss in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It was fun to create the images for this blog post and look back at our photos. I have so many trips I’d like to cover which will have to scratch my ‘holiday itch’ for the time being as currently, we have no holiday plans this year… boo!

365 DAYS OF PHOTOGRAPHY DONE! 🥳

I fiiinally can share my last photos for my 365. I really wanted to celebrate this as it was such a massive project that completely took over my thoughts and my days by the end! 😅 A MASSIVE thank you to those of you who were involved with my shoots throughout the year- I couldn’t have done it without you! 💗

Taking 1 photo a day seems like an easy thing to do but the reality is that you end up taking waaay more than 1 photo to get that perfect shot along with the editing which takes up a loooot of time (especially if you’re like me and struggle to pick just 1 photo to edit!)

I have a full time job, 9-5:30 every weekday which increased during sept-nov. Finding time to organise, taking and editing imagery alongside work, spending time with Jack, friends and family, gym/taking care of myself, cleaning and house chores along with any unexpected things that come along has been a real challenge but I’ve learnt I am very resilient and capable of making a lot happen at once!

Perfectionism and imposter syndrome are best friends that live in my mind almost constantly. I can honestly say this has been a great project for me to let go of some of those feelings and embrace the saying that ‘done is better than perfect’.

There were sooo many times I thought about quitting and thought ‘who cares?!’ but being proudly stubborn and determined I somehow listened to the tiny part of my brain that said ‘keep going!’ 💪🏻

I’m honestly so so proud of myself for being able to carry on with this project for a full YEAR 💃🏻🥳🥴💗
