A look back at a stop-motion project I created for Primula Cheese in 2023.

I created a series of 4 food-focused stop-motion videos, bringing each recipe to life through playful composition, movement and storytelling.

Stop motion has always been one of my favourite ways to work. I love the process of taking individual ingredients and objects and turning them into something with movement… whether it’s food or something completely different.

These were particularly fun to create, and looking back at them a few years later, they’re still some of the work I really enjoy.

3 morning rolls, 3 very different personalities. 🥓🍳

Had the pleasure of styling and photographing this breakfast shoot for Simon Howie Foods , with a little help from my partner, Maurizio, on the food styling, lighting and perfecting all the little details (including that beautifully cooked egg!).

From the classic Scottish breakfast roll to some less traditional combinations, ti was all about making every ingredient look as delicious as it tasted.

Food styling, lighting and plenty of attention to detail went into every frame. Always grateful to work on projects that celebrate great Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 produce.

This is your sign to go and have a burger soon 🤤

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t eat burgers that often. Then, out of nowhere, my body decides it’s time and I get the biggest burger craving 😂

Well… while working on this stop motion project for , those cravings completely disappeared 😬

We had so much fun bring this one to life. There’s something so satisfying about making food move frame by frame (even if it makes you hungry along the way!).

Here are some of the latest recipe images we’ve created for Terra Delyssa over the past few months. ✨

One of the key requirements for every shoot is that the bottle is always present in the frame. In some images, the recipe takes centre stage with the olive oil naturally integrated into the scene, while in others, the bottle becomes the hero, with the dish playing a supporting role. This gives the brand the flexibility to use the content across a wide range of marketing materials and campaigns.

It all started with a simple idea during our monthly call: bring one of our client’s most loved conserves (and our personal favourite) to life through a video inspired by the world of James Bond, since it’s mentioned in one of the novels 💛🍸

From the very beginning, we were all in. From tracking down props straight out of the book to crafting that iconic 1950s Bond atmosphere, this video was created to feel timeless, bold, and a little bit mysterious.

This is the kind of storytelling we love creating, where product meets narrative 😍✨ and if you’re a James Bond fan, we would love to hear your thoughts 👀
