Included in all Tova’s work is post production work and correction work. All parents want to mark their childrens’ journey through life and many regret not having more photos of the family or leaving it just too late. Before they know it,

their children are ready for University and collage! Time with a professional photographer is like creating a little time capsule of a moment of a childs life. Some families like to have group photos around the holidays ,

or simply the start of a new school in fresh new uniforms – photographs for the grandparents, proud aunts and uncles. Or maybe an anniversary or birthday? Again, all marking the passing of time and the journey through family life. So how does Tova put together her compositions? Her expert eye is a result of 13 years of experience and she continually challenges herself to take better and more beautiful photos. Whether it be outside in the park, with the children running free or in her home studio, with the perfect lighting and controlled conditions, the work looks fresh and personal to each family. Tova doesn’t believe in the stiff family posed shots, but she will always add her professional style to all her work. Work she is so proud to undertake for all of her families. Tova trained in Israel and her work has taken her all around Europe and the UK. Tova’s home studio is based in Salford, but she can travel in the surrounding Salford and Greater Manchester area. I was asked to photograph a very long table for a client who wanted to show how many people could sit around it. The warehouse was quite narrow, and there were only enough chairs for one side—and in different colours!

To solve this, I photographed the chairs on one side, then moved them to the other side and took another photo—without moving the camera. Later, I combined the two photos in Photoshop so it looks like the table is full of chairs on both sides.

I also edited the images to match the chair colours, remove the background, and even changed the table and chairs to a darker shade.

With a bit of creativity and editing, you can make your products look their best—even if you don’t have all the perfect props on hand!

What’s your favourite photo — 1 or 2?

I always like to take both sides: one looking to the right, one looking to the left.
Why? Because it’s nice when your gaze faces the direction of the text.

For example:
If your LinkedIn or website is in English (left to right), it can look better when you're facing left.
But if your text is in a right-to-left language like Hebrew or Arabic, then it’s better when your gaze is to the right.

But… it’s not a rule!
If you look better in a specific photo that goes against the direction of the text, just choose the one where you feel most comfortable.
At the end of the day, the most important thing is that you feel good about your photo.

Martin approached me to upgrade his personal branding images, and since I had previously photographed many Smartinet staff members for their headshots, I was familiar with the company's services.

Smartinet is a communication company specializing in Business Telecom & Card Payment Services, offering reliability, transparency, and flexibility. They prioritize efficient customer service, tailored plans, and dedicated support to ensure uninterrupted operations.

During our photo session, we aimed to connect their audience with their communication brand and the high-quality headphones they sell. We captured images showcasing the ability to work from anywhere, even on the go, with their products.

But we didn't stop at photos. We also did some video filming, gathering testimonials from satisfied local clients. It was quite easy, as their clients were more than happy to provide feedback. Smartinet are doing the video editing in-house. And as soon as the videos are ready, I can't wait to share it with you all.
Testimonials are a powerful way to showcase a business's reputation.

A while ago I photographed Ilana for personal branding photos (check yesterday's post to see Ilana's stunning photos ). She later asked me to come and take photos of her staff at her dental practice so she could have updated images of everyone.

They are all such nice people, and even though I had to come back a few times as they don't all work the same days, it was fantastic as they were so pleasant to work with.

Ilana also wanted to have lifestyle photos with real clients! Luckily her amazing clients were happy to smile for the camera as they sat in the treatment chair, and we got some fantastic images.

Now when potential clients go to her website, they will see authentic photos of real staff and real people, and all of them look so happy!

Ilana is a dentist and wanted to have good photos to promote her personal branding.

If you are in business, for example, if you are a dentist, there are tons of dentists around that also offer good quality, good service, good payment plans etc.

What makes you unique and special? Why should customers come especially to you?
The answer is very simple, this is YOU!

There is no one else in this world that can compare to you as a person!

All your uniqueness, your own personality, your own energy level, your own charisma... your smile, your attitude and this is really what attracts your potential customers.

In our world, when we as business promote our business online with websites, social media etc and also in printed magazines, we have to remember that this what makes us stand out in the crowd. If our photos can show our personality, they are much more likely to attract more clients.

Let's go back to Ilana. Many people know Ilana and her devotion to her dental patients and are very satisfied with her job and the results they are getting.

Now what about potential clients that don’t know Ilana personally? They are looking for a dentist, and with so many dentists around, many people will contact her based on her personality

Now when Ilana posts a blog post, or a post on social media, she can add her photo so people get to know here better. As the old saying goes; people need to know you, love you and trust you, then they will buy from you. If you have a business, you want to shout out about the problems you solve for your clients, you want to be authentic and to let people connect you on a personal level.

Ilana is very busy during the week so we booked the session for early Friday morning. First Lea Bookman, the makeup artist, came to apply beautiful makeup for Ilana then I arrived to take her pictures.

We started to take photos in Ilana’s room; meanwhile she was explaining to me all about the new technology that they use to give their clients the best dental results. Afterwards we went outside to take some photos outside the practice. It was freezing cold!!

Then we drove to my studio where we took some studio portraits and after we were done we went next door to Brackmans for a coffee, but there was a very long queue (Brackman’s on a Friday morning!) and Ilana was in a rush so we just took few photos there.

It was so nice working with Ilana, She is so easy going and we had such an amazing time creating these wonderful photos.

Here is a project I photographed at Beenstock Home.

Beenstock is a care home in Salford, Greater Manchester, that provides high-quality nursing care with warmth, respect, and dignity.

I often visit Beenstock to spend time with some of the residents, and every time I’m there, I’m touched by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The carers are always so kind, and the people living there seem happy, relaxed, and well looked after.

For this project, I photographed some of the staff and recorded their thoughts about their work. I then designed these images for Beenstock to use—on their website, printed on the walls, or wherever they choose.

It was a real privilege to hear what the carers had to say. They spoke with so much heart and passion. It’s clear that their work is more than just a job—it’s a calling.

Don’t you just love flowers? I do.

I was in for a real treat when Devorah scheduled a product photography shoot with me, because she brought the most beautiful flower arrangements to my studio for me to photograph. It was worth it for the smell alone! And the colours were fabulous!

Devorah is opening a new flower business and she wanted to take pictures to be able to showcase and advertise her new business.

Devorah’s flower arrangements are so beautiful; they range from classic to modern, with each piece having her signature unique style.
