One of the things I hear most often is:

“But Sarah, I don’t have a story.”

And one of the things I say most often is:

“Yes you blimmin’ well do.”

Your story doesn’t have to involve climbing Everest.

You don’t need to have made millions.

You don’t need a dramatic rags-to-riches transformation.

Sometimes the most interesting stories are sitting in the things you’ve completely normalised.

Something you overcame.

Something you’ve noticed in your industry.

Why you do what you do.

A client trend.

An opinion.

Something unexpected that happened.

A decision that changed everything.

I’ve spent 25+ years spotting stories.

And I’ve learned that the people WITH the stories are very often the last ones to recognise them.

You’re simply too close to see them.

You don’t need 50 stories to get PR.

You need ONE good story and to know what the blimmin’ heck to do with it.

That’s exactly what we’ll be doing at Pitch Craft on 16th September.

Finding your story.

Working out the angle.

Understanding who might actually want it.

And getting you ready to pitch it.

Not another day where you leave with a notebook full of ideas you’ll never implement.

You’ll actually DO the work.

I have just one seat left.

Want it?

Comment PITCH and I’ll send you the details.

Or are you just doing lots of things that FEEL like visibility?

I’ve got a free Visibility Reset to help you work that out.

You can be absolutely BRILLIANT at what you do.

But if nobody knows you are…

Someone less experienced and less qualified will become known as the expert instead.

Stop hiding.

What if you could ask a journalist whether your story is actually any good?

Not your mate.

Not your business coach.

Not ChatGPT. 😉

An actual journalist.

Someone who receives pitches and knows what makes a journalist think:

“Ooooh. Tell me more.”

That’s one of the reasons I’m delighted that international journalist Niamh Norman-Spence is joining me for Pitch Craft on 16th September.

Between us, you’re getting BOTH sides of the media relationship.

I can help you find the story, shape the angle, understand how it fits into your wider visibility strategy and show you how to pitch it.

Niamh can give you the journalist’s perspective.

What catches her attention?

What makes a great story?

What mistakes do people make when approaching journalists?

What makes a pitch stand out for the RIGHT reasons?

And what makes her hit delete?

Because you can spend hours crafting what YOU think is the perfect pitch…

But ultimately it needs to interest the person receiving it.

That’s why having PR and journalism in the same room is so powerful.

Two people have moved their bookings to my November event, which means I now have TWO unexpected places available for Pitch Craft.

What if the story that could get you featured in the media is one you’ve never even considered a story? 👀

It happens ALL the time. We’re so close to our own lives and businesses that the interesting, unusual, inspiring or downright fascinating things about us can feel completely ordinary. Yet I regularly have conversations with clients where I spot three or four potential stories they hadn’t even thought of.

Sometimes you don’t need to come up with a better story.

You just need someone to recognise the brilliant one you’re already sitting on.

And unearthing those hidden stories is one of my absolute favourite things to do.

Swipe through and then ask yourself… what story might YOU be overlooking?

Comment STORY or DM me if you’d like me to help you find it.

Getting press coverage is exciting.

Seeing your name, business or story in the media is a proper YESSSSS moment. 🙌

But getting featured is only half the job.

Because what happens next can be just as valuable as the coverage itself.

One great piece of PR can keep working for you for MONTHS — sometimes even YEARS — if you know what to do with it.

It can build credibility.

Give you stacks of content.

Strengthen your website.

Help with sales conversations.

Give you something to include in proposals, speaker bios and award entries.

Help you pitch for your NEXT piece of coverage.

And open doors you hadn’t even considered when the article first appeared.

This is why I don’t see PR as a one-day event.

I see it as an asset.

And it drives me slightly bonkers when I see brilliant media coverage shared once, given a few likes and then abandoned to gather digital dust. 😂

You’ve done the hard bit.

You’ve got the coverage.

Now make the blimmin’ thing WORK for you.

If you’ve had media coverage and you’re thinking, “Actually Sarah, I haven’t done half of this…” then DM me or comment LEVERAGE below.

Let’s get more mileage out of what you’ve already got.

Have you had amazing press coverage then done bu**er all with it since?

Maybe you shared it once on Facebook.

Popped it on your Instagram Stories.

Your mum shared it.

Auntie Linda gave it a like.

And then… nothing.

Meanwhile, that fabulous piece of media coverage is sitting somewhere in the depths of the internet doing absolutely NOTHING for your business.

But did you:

✨ Add it to your website?
✨ Email it to your database?
✨ Turn it into multiple social posts?
✨ Share snippets and quotes from it?
✨ Use it on LinkedIn?
✨ Mention it in sales conversations?
✨ Add it to proposals or pitch decks?
✨ Reference it when you’re speaking?
✨ Turn the topic into a blog or article?
✨ Use it to pitch yourself for your NEXT media opportunity?

Because getting the coverage is only HALF the job.

Most people treat PR like a one-day event.

I treat it like an asset.

One great piece of coverage should keep working for you for MONTHS afterwards.

Building credibility.

Creating content.

Opening doors.

Helping potential clients trust you.

And giving you another reason to talk about what you do without constantly having to create something new.

PR isn’t just about getting featured.

It’s about squeezing every last drop of value, visibility and credibility from that feature afterwards.

That’s where the real magic happens.

So, if you’ve been featured in the media but haven’t got a clue what to do with that coverage now, come and talk to me.

I’ll help you turn that one piece of PR into far more than a nice link you shared once and forgot about. 😉

Speaking on stage is brilliant for your visibility… but the talk itself is only ONE part of the opportunity.

What happens before you step onto that stage? What do you do with the people you meet while you’re there? And, crucially, what happens afterwards?

One talk can lead to PR coverage, podcast interviews, new speaking invitations, client enquiries, collaborations and WEEKS of content — but only if you know how to leverage it.

This is exactly how my brain works. I don’t just see the opportunity in front of you, I see everything it could become.

And that’s exactly the kind of thing we look at during my VIP Days.

I have 2 VIP Day spots left in September, where we’ll take a proper look at your entire visibility strategy — what you’re already doing, what you’re underusing, what opportunities you could be missing and how we can turn what you’re already doing into SO much more.

Want one of them?
