Wales highest mountain showing us what nature is really made of and producing the goods

Cloud inversion season was upon us and I struck gold when on the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

I left Manchester at 11pm, started a climb around 1am. Reached the summit and touched the Toposcope at 4:11am

From start to finish it was a show. From the darkness and eeriness on the way up, to the sunrise and seeing the moon opposite it, the cloud inversion show and then cloud waterfall on the way down, it was all special

We got all the strangers involved and got a great shot of us all with my drone hovering at serious heights

We were consumed by cloud on the summit and it was one of the most beautiful experiences, sitting and watching them
dance and roll while the sunrise was happening was something special, I’ve never seen anything like it

Really was worth the long night

Really sad and questionable to see the scenes tonight at the Hotspur Press, Manchester firefighters are currently putting out the flames on the 19th Century printing Mill.

It’s one of my favourite buildings to photograph, I took these a few years back and never posted them, located on Gloucester Street not far from the Ritz and by the banks of the river Medlock, it’s thought to be Manchesters oldest surviving mill.

Originally a cotton mill called the Medlock Mill, with construction possibly around 1794, with a a fire in the early 1800’s and then bought and rebuilt in 1902 by the Percy Brothers who turned it into a printing press responsible for classic film magazines and comics of that era and their sign still stands on top…

In the past it’s been home to lots of different creatives, artists and studios until 2017.

The mill until today stood as a testament to Manchester’s industrial past and is recognized for its historical and architectural significance.

This building was bought in the recent years but plans paused as there was an application to make the building of listed status.

Here are 3 edits I did, I couldn’t pick just one as I love everything these photos express about the long deep history of this building in this great city.

Is anyone surprised it’s gone up in flames…

Had the absolute pleasure of taking a trip to the big smoke and stay at the beautiful 5* in Mayfair and adventuring around London - Founded in 1832 by 2 former domestic servants and now consists of 13 connected Georgian townhouses, it’s Londons oldest luxury hotel. It has been favourite place of rest for Kings, Queens, US Presidents and writers like A.Christie & S.King but the one like most was that’s British script Rudyard Kipling stayed in the early 1890’s while writing The Jungle Book & The hotel has an inspired Kipling suite after the novel - This hotel oozes character and added to my love of history, this stay was a dream - I look forward to visiting again in the near future

The Ship and Shovell is a Victorian Pub in Craven Passage, Charing Cross, London.

It is unique for consisting of two separate buildings on either side of the street, connected underground by a shared cellar.

Its name has its origins in either the coal labourers who visited the nearby nearby coal hole or Admiral Cloudsley Shovell.

The two former terrace houses were built in 1731-1733 but later refaced.

It has been a grade ll listed buildings since 1970 -

Unfortunately when I went here on a Sunday, it was closed so didn’t get any photos of the inside
