Hello everyone, I’m sorry it’s been a while since anything was posted on here. This year has been a busy one to say the least!
As some of you may know my husband has incurable cancer which has meant the normality of my life as I knew it had to stop imminently.
As I’ve always thought ‘life is too short to waste it’.
I became a photographer for a reason, it’s something I enjoy doing, but more importantly I always go out of my way for people, helping them capture their special days by getting photos to look back on and have beautiful memories of.
So for most of this year I’ve chosen to put my husband first and get memories for myself whilst I still can with him, which has meant my career has been pushed to the side, although I do pick up my camera from time to time!
Although there has been a lot of difficult times these past few months whether it be in stay hospital trips, chemotherapy treatments or my own health issues, there have also been some amazing times we’ve accomplished this year…
We started the New Year in Blackpool seeing the lights and spending some well deserved time together. In March we celebrated our first year of married life and as for April, well that was a busy month! - We moved house (although unfortunately Connor was in hospital whilst it happened) and then a couple of days later we renewed our wedding vows in front of our family & friends, beautifully arranged by a wonderful Charity called Gift of a Wedding
I guess what I’m trying to say and the reason for me posting is, I’m still here even if quietly in the background! I’m still available for photo shoots, whether it be weddings, new born shoots, parties, events, gigs.. you name it and I’d give it a good go for you!
There’s a lot of ideas I’ve got that I’d like to have a go at given the chance, so keep your eyes peeled for some up and coming posts in the not so distant future! 📸
Here’s some photo highlights 🙂
