So... Lacey has been VERY busy 👀🥀
We are very excited to announce an extra special INSTANT photo experience at the KEP studio to celebrate the launch of our brand new book of poses! ❤️‍🔥

📖 The book 📖
We have expanded our book of poses to provide you with the ultimate guide to your next photoshoot! From pre-shoot prep to body placement guides, there is even more content to enjoy before you even get to our selection of poses.
More poses have been added to help you get the most out of your aerial shoot experience, including chains.
At the back, you fill find bonus pages for you to write out and plan your selection of moves and shapes, so that you can take it with you to your next shoot.
We’ve even added a touch of *f a n c y*, with a matte hardback cover, and gold ring binding along the spine.
The Book of Pole and Aerial Poses is available to pre-order, with copies to be sent out the first Monday after the event...

🥀 The Event 🥀
Pole-aroid is a romantic, photographic experience.
A concept designed by Lacey, allowing you to enjoy the KEP experience with instant results.
Step into our rouge-ior and strike a heart-throbbing pose for our polaroid printer.
We will be using mobile photography, paired with vintage presets designed by Kat, plus our usual KEP lighting experience, to create deep tones and a vintage romantic aesthetic.
Please note that we suggest sticking to poses for this event, and to avoid pole moves.
The best poses for this set would be lower shapes, nothing too wide, as you will need to keep within a square frame.
Time slots will be 1 hr for two people to shoot, select, and print.
10 Polaroids per person, plus digital copies emailed to you at the end.

10% of profits will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support, who have been imperative to Kat’s mum, Fran, and family this year.

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

The day of love is here! I’ve never been one to make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love love. I love seeing it in all its forms. The quiet, the bold, the love between friends and between family. And most of all, I love what this day has come to represent: the reminder that self-love is just as powerful, just as necessary. It’s about treating ourselves with the same warmth and kindness we so freely give to others.

And I have to say, our cosmic lover theme has completely stolen my heart. The dreamy reflections, the mesmerizing color palette, it’s pure magic. ✨

TW: Terminal Illness

I don’t usually share much of my personal life on KEPhotos, but now I feel it’s time to share what my family and I have been going through.

My mother has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and unfortunately, it has progressed to a point where surgery is no longer an option. While we have treatments that may extend her life expectancy by a couple of years if we’re lucky, this has been absolutely heartbreaking for us.

My mum has been my biggest inspiration, she’s always supported my photography, and I owe so much of my creativity to her. KEPhotos wouldn’t exist without her and my dad. She’s also the reason I love fancy dress! She has the biggest heart, and the thought of the world losing such an incredible person is terrifying.

Because of this, I’ll be making some changes this year:

🖤 No more location shoots – I want to be home as much as possible. I may consider booking a shoot close to Manchester, but that’s the limit.

🖤 Longer editing times – We’ve always kept our prices affordable, which means long editing times. They will be longer now to accommodate hospital visits, errands for my parents, and, most importantly, time with my mum.

I won’t sugarcoat it, this will have a big impact on KEPhotos, and I am scared of what the future holds for us. If you’re able to travel to our studio days or private sessions this year, please know that your support will mean the world in helping us stay afloat.

Delays in image delivery have already started, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience. It’s just the two of us, while Lacey helps immensely with admin, I handle all the photography and editing myself. To keep our prices accessible, we take on as much work as possible, this is something we’ll reassess for 2026.

I also want to acknowledge how much this affects Lacey. With me being less available, her workload increases,so please be patient with her too.

I’m so grateful to be able to do my dream job, and I can’t thank you all enough for supporting my quirky ideas. The kindness you’ve all shown so far has meant everything and helped keep me going. Please hug your loved ones extra tight today 🩷

My absolute favourite shot from this dreamy space shoot with the gorgeous . If you’ve ever come to a shoot of mine with long hair or floaty clothes (and had some extra time of course), you’ll have probably see me give Lacey and Emma the ✨look✨ which means we’re gonna be doing some drops! I absolutely adore doing hair and skirt drops, they look so powerful. We will always get either Lacey or Emma (or sometimes BOTH of them!) doing the drops. This means that you can pose yourself in the right position and not have to focus on dropping your skirt or flicking your hair. It makes for the perfect shot and looks absolutely effortless!

Who’s going to be doing some drops with us as their next shoot? 👀✨
