Alright. Reason why I f*cking (fu***ng) love these photos:

- Had no idea I was getting them, not at all what I had in mind for that day
- Decided on the day to go for a drive with a mate and decided on the day I’ll just grab my camera
- I’ve said this a fair bit recently but yeah I got a new toy, and it was good to test out my new Sony 50mm f1.4 GM as I bought it purely for its sharpness
- Regardless of where we went (Blackpool - Jesus Christ) I still challenged myself on the spot to grab something I felt I’d like looking back at
- It’s also good, regardless of shot style, just to practise in different scenarios, and then see what editing capabilities come from it.

Just thought I’d drop another intro here since it’s been a minute.

Nathan - Founder & co-owner of 2 bars in Manchester. &

After the first year of SiC (SiC the bar…) I picked up a camera for the first time just to have a go at it really and upgrade our digital presence. Haven’t looked back since. Year on year progression and year on year upgrades.

Currently shooting on Sony, with Tamron & SIRUI lenses.

Another example of shooting with no assisted lighting rig - straight from camera to edit from my Sony A7SIII

I bought this camera for capturing crisp shots in low lighting capabilities.

I’ve leaned heavily into shooting in the natural lighting of my bars so I capture the truest perspective, I rarely set up lighting rigs for staged shots aside from portrait shots…

Here I love how the colour palette almost blends, with silky lights being emphasised by the every day filter

About 2 years ago I switched to Sony for it’s low light capabilities for shooting content in my bars on the fly…

I moved to Sony A7SIII for both film and photography as a 2 in 1.

Bought myself a Tamron 28-75 1.8, and a SIRUI 85mm 1.4

This was shot with no backup lights, just in it’s natural environment in , with the 1/4 strength every day filter to give the lighting a bloom effect and a slightly smoked out filter.

It’s the perfect set up for low light, product and portrait shots
