A few weeks ago, and reached out to me to film all night long show at Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon. After some back-and-forth, we decided to bring in a 15-meter crane to capture some unusual angles and really showcase impressive stage design.
Originally, these shots were meant to be part of an aftermovie I was working on with my partner-in-crime .mameli , and I was also planning to use a few of them for multicam sequences alongside my main stage cam.
Then, right at the beginning of Nico’s set, Martijn asked if we could set up a camera at front of house and combine all our shots to create a full multicam edit. We ended up with 3 to 5 cameras rolling throughout the show, and after 3 intense days of editing, 2 tb of data, here’s the result.
