Welcome to this world, baby Oscar 🤍

Only 18 months ago I was photographing little Halle as a newborn herself - and here she is, still a baby, already wearing the title of big sister with so much pride.

Sibling portraits hit differently. There’s something about capturing that very first meeting, the tiny hands, the big sister curiosity, the quiet awe on mum and dad’s faces watching their family grow before their eyes. These are the moments I feel so lucky to be trusted with 🤍

Newborn slots for September and October are filling fast, and bookings are already stretching into January. If you’re expecting, the best time to lock in your newborn session is right after your 12 week scan - it means your spot is secured well before baby arrives, no last-minute stress.

33 🎈🚀

Thirty-three feels like a chapter I get to greet slowly, and I’m grateful for that. A healthy mind and body. A love that feels like home. Two wild, wonderful children who have my whole heart.

What I’m most proud of isn’t really about me - it’s what my kids get to witness. Their immigrant mama, building something from nothing, doing work she loves, raising them with little to no village and figuring it out anyway. I hope they remember this part.

And I’m grateful, genuinely, for the families who’ve trusted me with their most tender moments. That trust is not something I take lightly, and it’s the whole reason any of this has been possible.

In a couple of weeks, I step into something new: full-time photographer, for the first time in 7 years. It’s equal parts nerve-wracking and exciting. But I’ve built this slowly and intentionally, and I’m ready.

This love you never knew existed before, suddenly overtaking your whole entire existence.

I’ve been feeling so nostalgic lately, coming back again and again to newborn photos of my daughter and her big brother - those early days of them together. Now looking at those photos together and answering a gazillion questions 🥹

They say the days are long but the years are short and I want to cry at how incredibly true that is.

My girl had her first play session at big school yesterday. I’ve already started asking around for school uniforms. It’s wild - no one prepared me for how fast the time just… evaporates.

Good thing I’ve got those photos of her being so tiny, resting in my hands. Good thing she asks to see ‘pictures of me as a baby’ every single day. No kidding.

My cosmic girl. My brightest star. My never-stopping comet. 🌙💫☄️

You turned three yesterday, and I still can’t quite believe it - all 9 pounds of you, speeding your way into the world (just four hours before scheduled cs) like you had somewhere important to be and absolutely no time to waste. That was our first clue.

You have been living your life fully, loudly and proudly ever since, always knowing better, always entirely on your own terms.

And I promise you, my wild girlie - I will try my best to never let anyone or anything change you. Even if it costs me going completely grey.

Your laughter is the best sound I have ever heard, and so contagious I dare anyone to resist it. Those cheeky, wonder-filled eyes that say how can I make this my way?! every single time - I would keep them exactly as they are forever if I could.

You make our whole life more vibrant and more loving just by being in it. We all adore you, completely and without condition.
