The team that brought you The Britfest launched their new event last night, it was a pleasure to be there to document.

The Christmas Musical Spectacular will be held in Manchester this December 22/23rd. The event will be headlined by Michael Ball OBE and hosted by Aled Jones

Musical theatre anthems and Christmas classics performed live with a 30 piece orchestra and choir.

I had loads of fun capturing the Quays Culture Lightwaves exhibition in Salford. Thank you to all the people who agreed to be in front of the camera, the exhibition really comes alive when people get involved.

MICHELLE & KEV
Michelle and Kev share the same passion for St Helens Rugby club, in fact the stadium is where they first met so as a wedding venue it was the perfect location.

I knew Michelle from secondary school, we were in the same form (I know Michelle, I forgot!) so it was special to be there after 31 years!

Thank you to all the amazing staff for being lovely and brilliant and to Michelle and Kev for being even more lovely and brilliant, wishing you all the best for the future.

It’s been a while since I posted but let’s be honest, it’s never too late to see pictures of Christmas trees!

Paula and Adrian are two of the loveliest people you could wish to meet. They wanted to celebrate over the festive period and bring some Christmas magic into their wedding, I think they pulled it off.

Thanks to all of their friends and family for making me feel so welcome and to the fantastic staff hotel who were a great help - especially keeping hold of some of my equipment I left behind!

THE BRITFEST 2026 LAUNCH PARTY

With the exciting launch party and line up announcement 2026 this evening in Altrincham I thought it would be cool to look back at some of my favourite images from this year’s festival.

From meeting all the fantastic people who attended the festival and working with the amazing crew it was a special weekend. One of my highlights was being asked to photograph a wedding ceremony for the lovely Adam @ Sarah. Never expected that!

I’m excited to find out who’s playing the festival next year at tonight’s launch party, it should be epic!

CHARLOTTE & DALE

Despite the biblical weather outside Charlotte and Dale enjoyed an intimate church wedding with close friends and family

From the stunning location to the beautiful first dance (in the church!) soundtracked by the soul legend, Etta James, it was something special.

Thank you to the bride’s brother Andy for expertly holding my lighting equipment and to Reverend Ann and colleague Tracy for being so accommodating. I’ve never had the run of a church before for my couple portraits, it was epic, thank you!

I love shooting weddings in my home city of Manchester. Swati & Shaun started their day reading out each other’s vows

After their intimate city centre ceremony we had time to capture portraits which finished in front of the famous Mancunian pub Peveril of the Peak.

Swati & Shaun despite the intense heat were fantastic, we had loads of fun.

It was a pleasure meeting Swati and Shaun, they are a lovely couple and I wish them all the best for the future.
