It's having the curiosity and courage to follow the path less travelled, taking time to notice the things that many others don't and most importantly, it's about not only looking, but actually seeing. My passion for photography began in Barcelona where I was captivated by street art and urban culture. Over time, my style has diversified to include landscapes,

architecture and portraits amongst many others. Photography allows us to capture a feeling, document a moment and tell a story and thats exactly how I use it.

💜 It's the end of an era... 💜

Some news from Shot by Amy HQ today. What a wild and wonderful ride the last 8 years have been!! All the love, laughter (and lots of learning!) and I'm beyond grateful to everyone I've met along the way. I feel incredibly honoured to have been able to capture so much joy and so many memories but change is on the horizon.

As I step away from wedding photography, I'm taking some time to pause and reflect but, whatever the future holds, I'm sure photography will continue to feature heavily.

Here's to a peaceful and restorative festive period and a happy, healthy 2024! 💜

A few weeks ago, I got to spend the day with Sarah & Ryan who got married on the marble staircase at Stockport Town Hall and then headed to Thornsett Fields Farm Wedding and Events Barn for fun in the sun with their nearest and dearest. The barn looked stunning after a real team effort on the decor and the ice-cream and pizza went down well, not to mention the mightiest veggie grazing table I've ever seen! A wonderful day for a fabulous couple! Huge congrats Sarah & Ryan ❤

I absolutely loved shooting Kath & Liam's rock wedding at The Wellbeing Farm Wedding and Events Venue. When the bridal party arrives to ACDC, following their friend who had flowers in his beard, scattering petals down the aisle, you know you're in for a fun day! Huge congrats, Kath & Liam!!

Where to start with this one? Maybe with the technicolour "unicorns"? Or the doughnut tower? No, the pot luck lunch? What about the DIY fortune teller favours, or the glitter curtains, or the swing inside the venue?? Surely it has to be the ICONIC outfits that were all over this wedding??

When Sara & Ella first contacted me about their wedding they described it as a "big q***r kids party" and it's fair to say they smashed that brief. Sara looked INCREDIBLE in her Selkie dress with a lush hair bow she made herself and Ella was rocking their non-binary finery in a Gresham Blake suit, cowboy hat, personalised braces from on Etsy and wedding Crocs! There was dancing down the aisle, a gorgeous ceremony conducted by their friend (who made his own epic waistcoat, complete with mirrorball personalisation and Pride flags!) confetti cannons and a walk down the road to venue number 2 for all the fun and a great big boogie! The perfect day for the most wonderful couple, congrats Ella & Sara!!

Huge congrats to Georgia & Craig who tied the knot at their wonderful winter wedding The Olde England Kiosk. Last month, I got to join Sam & Nia for their YHA Hartington Hall wedding weekend! They well and truly ripped the wedding "rule book" up and did things their own way by getting ready and coming into their ceremony together, having bells and ribbons instead of confetti, opting for doughnuts from Doughnotts instead of a wedding cake and having a Twmpath (a Welsh Cèilidh-type dance) with no first dance. They both looked glorious in a navy Nancy Mac jumpsuit and customised green dress, kept formal group photos to a minimum in favour of candid, fun snaps and they had the utterly fabulous Kickass Gatherings conducting their gorgeous, personalised ceremony which had us crying and laughing at the same time! What a glorious day for a wonderful couple! Huge congrats Sam & Nia! 🧡

Well, what a joy it was to see Abi & Matt tie the knot at The Old Doghouse last weekend! I first met them when I photographed Matt's sisters wedding in 2020 so it was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new peeps to celebrate another wonderful wedding day! With gorgeous decor, hilarious speeches and a packed dance floor with absolutely no encouragement needed, it was an unforgettable day for a truly fabulous couple! 🧡

Diana & Raouf recently celebrated their marriage with 140 of their nearest and dearest at The Castlefield Rooms in Manchester. With Arabic roots, their day was a celebration of their West & East African heritages with traditional music, dancing and delicious homemade cakes by Raouf's mum. After a beautiful personal ceremony conducted by their friend, they soaked up the sun around the canals of Castlefield, enjoyed bilingual speeches & poems and then danced the night away in style! Huge congrats, Diana & Raouf! ❤

This weekend, I got to celebrate with Anna & Sean (and their wonderful gang) for their technicolour, joy-filled city centre wedding. They kicked things off with a beautiful ceremony at HOME Mcr followed by roof terrace hangs, a stroll down to Lock 91 Manchester and the party to end all parties! With homemade rainbow ribbon bunting, a legendary playlist providing the perfect wedding soundtrack and pastel de natas for days, Anna & Sean's wedding day was packed with big grins, belly laughs and iconic dance moves. Huge congrats to these glorious lovebirds and thanks for inviting me along! ❤

Last month, I got to spend the day with Kat & Mark for their glorious Grangefields wedding! With beautiful bouquets by Kat's mum and a cracking cake by their friend, their day was jam-packed with personal touches and sunsshhhiiiiine! I loved that they absolutely put their own stamp on proceedings too. Want to arrive together? Don't want to walk down the aisle? Being the centre of attention with a first dance and cake cutting not really your thing? Then channel Kat & Mark, ditch those "traditions" and do what works for YOU!! Last week, I got to spend the afternoon with Lucy & Joe for their The Little Fox wedding and it was absolutely wonderful! There were so many personal touches, from the crochet decor and flowers that Lucy made (turned into the most incredible bouquet by Flowers by Jenny Penny) to their wedding rings that they made together at Oldfield Forge Experience Days and their day had all the sunny garden hangs, music and more fiddles than you could shake a stick at!!
