I’m super pleased to share this film which follows a group of young puppeteers and performers as they came together to create an original piece of theatre inspired by these extraordinary birds. Through workshops, collaboration and performance, they explore both the story of swifts and the power of creativity to bring people together.

Thanks so much to everyone involved who made this happen! Deborah Pitman is a force of nature and Network Rail know it!

Returning swift populations face disaster in Derbyshire (and beyond) where their nest sites have been cemented shut. Presenting ‘The Cat & The Swift’, a short film – https://youtu.be/3Gu7yFZX2ds

Happy 2021 to all my fellow car and photography loving IG followers. As it’s the start of a new year I wanted to share something with you all (small note, I was sent some free clothes to test and help photograph, I wasn’t asked to do the post!). I’m sure, like me, you love cars, car culture, big engines, flame spitting GTR’s to name a few, but recently it’s becoming more and more apparent that we must all take a stand to help protect the environment as a whole. And this doesn’t mean loosing the flaming GTR’s :)

Just small changes can make a big difference. Buy fruit not wrapped in plastic, try to save energy around the home and also make conscious decisions on the clothes that clothing you wear. Did you know that it takes 2,700 litres of water to produce the cotton needed to make one t-shirt, 2,000 litres to make a pair of jeans and 73% of clothing ends up in landfill or is incinerated.

So recently and I in conjunction with test drove some of their latest clothing range. It’s great quality and also partially made from, yep you’ve guessed it, Bamboo. There’s loads of information on their website if you want to delve in deeper. From hoodies to t-shirts, jeans to sportswear they have a great range and are aiming to be impact positive by 2030.

Check them out and if you like what you see, use ‘helen15’ to get 15% off your order! Have a great 2021, here’s to more adventures to come for us all. Dave. (Photos by )

What an absolute privilege to photograph this Georges Richard for . The weather was a bit hit and miss, but we managed to dodge the rain and take the old girl out for a spin. It was a bit stop start as the Georges Richard was not playing ball, but once we got going and warmed up we managed to get loads of photos. Thanks to for writing up a top notch article in the latest edition – Feb 2021 and for making it all come together.

"A handful of horsepower, a top speed of around 24mph (downhill) and more history than you could shake a stick at, what's not to love about photographing this Georges Richard. From intricate details to hand cranked starts, flaming headlights to oily chains, it's where driving as we know it began."

Here's to a brighter year to come and hopefully more magazine commissions. Fingers crossed.
