Hey! It’s been approximately 427 days since I shared an actual, up-to-date, not taken two years ago photo of myself. But I had a few photos taken of me on Tuesday, so behold, my face!
Anyway, if you’re new here, I’m Marni 🙋🏽‍♀️ It feels a little bit unbelievable, but this is my 10th year as a wedding photographer! That’s 10 years of taking joyful photographs unobtrusively. 10 years of capturing real moments and authentic emotions. Maybe I should do something to celebrate?
I’m currently really into pottery, and after nearly 2 years of learning, I can finally say I’m ok at it (I’m not being modest, I’ve only just started making nice things by intention rather than fluke). I’ve also recently started learning how to salsa, which is very fun, 10/10 would recommend! I’m also a big fan of cosy reading days, gossipy podcasts, walks in nature, swimming in large bodies of water, closing my eyes and lifting my face to unexpected sun on a wintery day, and enjoying the occasional spicy marg.
All this is to say that I’m a person, just like you (unless you’re a bot, in which case we are nothing alike), and if you’re planning a wedding day that’s all about celebrating your love and having a fun time with your favourite people, then, maybe, just maybe, I might just be the perfect photographer for you!
