Personal branding is about so much more than a new headshot.

I recently spent a couple of hours with Jordan Daly, Branch Director of Jordan Daly | EweMove , creating a new bank of images for his business.

Jordan is very much the face of his brand, so we wanted his photographs to show more than just what he looks like.

We captured relaxed portraits, working shots, phone calls, creating video content and some of the everyday moments that help potential clients get a feel for the person they’ll actually be dealing with.

We also headed out around Altrincham for some more relaxed portraits, bringing a bit of the local area into the shoot too.

That’s always the aim with my personal branding sessions. To give you a varied library of images that actually tells the story of you and your business, rather than 50 versions of the same headshot.

Your brand photos don’t need to last you forever.

Businesses change. You launch something new, your services evolve, your website gets updated, or maybe you’ve simply used your favourite images so many times that you’re ready for something fresh.

That’s exactly what a top up shoot is for.

I recently caught up with Lisa for a second session to add some new images to the ones we’d already created together.

Because we’ve worked together before, we didn’t need to start from scratch. We could concentrate on what was missing and create a fresh set of images that work alongside her existing library.

I offer a reduced rate for returning clients who just need a little refresh rather than a full brand shoot.

It’s an easy way to keep your content feeling current without having to reinvent everything every time.

Some photos are about more than just how they look 🤍

This is my friend’s daughter Eryn with her gorgeous pony, Sunflower 🌻

There is definitely something so special about the bond between a girl and her pony, and I loved getting to capture a little piece of theirs.

The cuddles, the closeness and those little moments that feel completely ordinary now, but one day will mean so much.

We brought Mum Alex BK into a few too, because these are her memories as much as Eryn’s.

One day they will look back at these and remember exactly what this chapter of their lives felt like.

And I think that’s one of my favourite things about photography. Capturing the things that matter while you’re right in the middle of them.

Possibly my most well behaved clients of the week… 🐶📸

Something a little different from me recently with a branding shoot for Adam at ELITE K9 TRAINING

The aim was to create a bank of professional images that show not just Adam, but what he actually does day to day as a dog trainer.

Along side the posed photographs, we focused on capturing him working with his dog, the interaction between them and those natural moments that help potential clients get a feel for the person behind the business.

Because personal branding photography doesn’t have to mean sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop.

It should actually show what you do.

And I’ll happily take more shoots involving dogs please! 🐾

Corporate photography doesn’t have to look corporate.

Some of my favourite business shoots are the ones where everyone forgets about the camera after the first ten minutes.

Yes, I will always get the headshots and team photos you need, but I’m always looking for everything happening in between too.

The conversations.
The laughs.
People actually working together.
The little moments that show what it really feels like to work with your business.

Because those are often the images that end up being the most useful for websites, LinkedIn, recruitment and marketing.

Natural, professional and definitely no awkward corporate mugshots.

“If calm was a room, I think it would look something like this🌿”

I’m loving that green is the colour at the moment and this is a perfect example of how these earthy green tones work beautifully when designed correctly 🌿

This was a recent interiors shoot in Cheshire for Fed at Fed Whitefoot | Interior Design

I loved photographing this bedroom. The colours, textures and natural light all came together beautifully, creating a space that feels calm, cosy and effortlessly stylish.

Definitely a room I’d be happy to wake up in every morning.

Everyone’s loving the heatwave...

But I think we’ve reached the point where the UK needs air conditioning and a swimming pool in every garden. ☀️😂

I found this little video from where I stayed in Croatia last year and honestly, I’d much rather be here right now

A warm breeze, a pool, nowhere to be and absolutely nothing on the to do list.

Take me back.
