There’s something pretty special about getting married somewhere that already feels like home. No restrictions from a venue, no rules about how it should look - just your favourite people, a field full of memories, and a marquee filled with laughter, music and loads of dancing.

This is the kind of wedding that reminds you that sometimes the best place to say “I do” is right on your own doorstep. ✨

And honestly… what could be better than a picturesque village, a family farm and a party in a field?

🌧️ A little rain and a whole lot of love.

Buxton has always been one of my favourite places to visit so yesterday’s wedding had an extra sprinkle of magic as the Buxton Crescent Hotel & Spa provided the most stunning backdrop for Jen Shone and Ewan Moody beautiful wedding day.

The skies may have opened up from start to finish but honestly .. nobody cared. Because the best wedding days aren’t about perfect weather. They’re about the people, the stories, the belly laughs, the happy tears and all the beautiful moments in between.

And this one had it all. 🤍

✨ Yesterday was incredible ✨ kimjemima and Edward Fry tied the knot in Henley-on-Thames and it was nothing short of FABULOUS!

I’ve been lucky enough over the years to enjoy an array of wonderful experiences courtesy of my weddings. Needless to say, sharing along in the boat ride from the church down to the reception with this lovely couple was an absolute joy and an honour to be a part of (especially as I got to witness them sharing their private vows to one another).

Surrounded by 170 of their nearest and dearest, this was one seriously epic wedding party. Pitched up on the embankment of the River Thames, the tone for the evening celebrations were set from the point that napkins were waved in the air as Kim & Ed skipped into their marquee (they took the roof off).

Here’s just a tiny teaser of how it went yesterday 🤍 kimjemima & Edward Fry rest assured, there’s still plenty more to see where these little beauties came from!

There’s something undeniably special about a wedding at The Pearly Cow in York. With its effortlessly stylish interiors, it’s the perfect setting for couples who want a celebration that feels relaxed, elegant, and completely centred around what matters most. It ticked all the boxes for the wedding celebrations of Charlotte Philpin and Alastair Cheshire.

This beautiful day was filled with genuine laughter, incredible food, a ‘draw the person opposite you’ contest and a whole load of love. No fuss, no pressure— just two people celebrating the start of their next chapter with their favourite people by their side.

Today I bring to the world of Instagram this stunning little wedding from yesterday. Charlotte Philpin & Alastair Cheshire planned the cutest day for themselves and their nearest and dearest to witness them tie the knot ahead of their wedding part ii tomorrow.

Nothing short of stunning, we took our time and strolled around the beautiful backdrop of York. The cobbled streets, the old buildings and not forgetting the breathtaking beauty of York Minster .. this wedding was a delight to photograph and I can’t wait to see what this gorgeous pair have in store for their wedding plans tomorrow (fans at the ready 😎)

Yesterday was nothing short of INCREDIBLE! I shared along in the amazing wedding day of and at . This lovely pair welcomed me with open arms into all of their celebrations and having shot Rachel’s sister’s wedding five years ago, I felt right at home 🤍

There was a stunning church service, a tonne of confetti, a vintage car, drinks reception in the most idyllic country garden, heart felt speeches, live music by the incredible , a champagne tower and sparklers. Needless to say, this was a day brimming over with love, laughter and a whole tonne of fun.

and .. rest assured, there’s still LOADS more to see where these came from!

What better way to mark and wedding anniversary than with a full feature on my blog. A whole year ago I travelled to to document the weekend celebrations of this stunning pair and what a weekend it was.
