𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀?

Happiness and joy would probably be the first things you think about. This is what 18 YEARS OF MARRIAGE look like. But what made this marriage to succeed so far? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 or 𝗪𝗵𝗼 makes a marriage to flourish?

• COMMUNICATION is key and is extremely essential. Your partner is not a mind reader, speak up and maintain a good and 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 of communication 🗣️

• UNDERSTANDING each other is very important and without it you cannot have peace in your home 🙏🏻

• MAKING A CONSCIOUSS EFFORT even when things don't go as planned or your spouse gets on your nerves, which, the truth being told, happens a lot and it is perfectly normal 😊

• LEARNING TO BE LESS SELFISH AND MORE SELFLESS by prioritising your partner's needs, by pushing them to become the best version of themselves and showing them support in their growth (this MUST be mutual) 🙌🏻

• SERVE WITHOUT COMPLAINING, just like Jesus did, He is the best example. He served tirelessly, selflessly and full of love ❤️

• YOUR SPOUSE COME FIRST because, according to God's word, you have now become 𝗢𝗡𝗘. No matter what, they come before immediate family, extended family and even the children. The marriage is a TRIANGLE, formed by God, husband and wife. The children are indeed a 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, but an 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to the marriage 🤱🏻

• A STRONG FOUNDATION IN CHRIST, last but 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿. All the things mentioned above are 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 if God is not 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘 and 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 of a marriage ✝️

✨ A marriage works only when the 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Also, remember to appreciate and cherish your spouse at all times, but do not keep it to yoursels, LET THEM KNOW 😊
