I have been privileged to have chosen one of the most amazing careers as a Professional Photographer. I have undertaken in all around 1000 weddings over the 29 yrs, encompassing all the top venues that the North of England has to offer, along with assignments abroad and working with the Premiership for over 7 years. Being Studio based also gives me great
scope for those special family portraits, head shot and modelling portfolios. Adopting a calming, unobtrusive approach, with a knack of adapting to each situation, whatever this may be. My pedigree hails from multi-award winning 'The Dennis Hylander Studio', Gatley, having been trained by his 'mentor' Dennis, the studio arguably being one of the most successful wedding and portrait photographers in England. Ian has also been accredited to and has been a member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers for over 20 yrs. Having photographed weddings for a period approaching 30 years, Ian has seen the styles and requirements of his clients evolve constantly, from the classical, to the contemporary, reportage-documentary, back to the classical. Indeed, Ian's style reflects and encompasses all of these genres as this website will testify to. My ethos is to change and adapt to each clients requirements and needs. Fulfilling these goals, to produce images to treasure. Ian Robinson Photography believes in simplicity. We offer all our wedding clients a 'comprehensive' coverage package, from preparation pre-ceremony, up to your first dance. We include image rights too, with albums being an option following your wedding, using only the very best in album quality, the beautifully handcrafted albums from Graphistudio of Italy. Being studio based for 14yrs, brings you the security and reassurance that an established business has to offer.
